I was very intrigued by the video until he kept picking up the bearded dragons but there tails. Congrats on making pretty morphs but get some more experience before you make a video with someone who's lifting reptiles by their tails

I'd be really interested to see what the boa community in Mexico is like considering they have native Sonoran boas in parts of the country and that kind of thing. I know it's probably less exciting for some of the people there but at the same time captive boas are drastically different than seeing a wild one.

I used to breed beardies about 10 years ago, then stopped, having been completely out of the loop it's crazy to see how many more new lines have popped up, and I agree, I've always felt silkies were atrocities.. as pretty as they were, it was something that should've never happened imo
@drinkallthesunshine2 жыл бұрын
So are the red monsters. This guy is highly misinformed saying “they were created in China”…. Not true. First accidentally produced by an American breeder, was heavily bought up by the Asian marketplace, who unfortunately were highly irresponsible when it came to breeding. Incest over and over again. They were exported back to the states where people continued to inbreed as a way to make more $$ off people. If you’re buying one of these 100% red monster, you’re running a risk that your animal has horrible genetics. They get sold for up to $5,000 and then rarely live longer than a year. The ones that do live, are immediately bred to create more and more. This guy doesn’t know the origins of the morph, and the way he has multiple male red monsters, Irene surprising for red monster breeders. They buy a bunch up and hope they live long enough to reach breeding age and either cross them with another red or another red monster. And again, it’s not ethical, it’s all for profit. These morphs are at an old extremely high risk of developing cancer in their bones. They can die before even reaching 6 months. So completely unethical and only for a profit. It’s as messed up as breeding silkies. You don’t hear anyone talk about this in their videos except SuperFly Dragon Guy, who bought 2… a male and female… the female died within 4 months of bone cancer. This is all due to the inbreeding. Go watch up his videos and I encourage others to do the same. Yeah they’re cool, but do you really wanna spend $5k on an animal from an unethical breeder just to post pictures and be able to say you have a red monster, when it’s life is a extremely compromised. I don’t trust anything this guy is spouting out. He clearly is only in this for the money.

Agreed.. the way their skin is so sensitive. They're so hard to care for and the poor things are usually sick or miserable. I feel bad for the poor beardies.

I heard that too and from what ive researched its true. But i mean people just see a cool color and think its awesome. Meanwhile people like this guy clearly only cares about getting paid. So they could care less how the dragons feel. Its sad

It’s ok to have hatchlings together after they are first born but you’re right when it comes to juveniles or adults. I personally didn’t see him putting any adults or juveniles together. The main issue Insee is how small the cages all are.
@shawn517057572 жыл бұрын
i thought beardys cant cohab together ? i would love to talk to a expert of beardys to learn more about them and their habitats at home. i keep getting mixed info about my guy.
@djg46532 жыл бұрын
You would be gambling. Especially adult bearded dragons. Breeders frequently cohabitate, but there are risks associated with it. I personally do not cohabitate adults as a breeder. Some do some don't. But Ive seen the damage just a baby can do to another baby. It can easily bit a leg or another tail. Males and females will breed when kept together. Males will fight each other. And all dragons will try to use both resources. I do believe there are good ways to cohabitate, but you need to be willing to build huge cages with multiples of everything. The average set up is not equipped for two or more dragons
@djg46532 жыл бұрын
Also separating them is virtually risk free

Don't like to be negative but as a reptile keeper myself this just makes me sad.
