@Electric_Bagpipes4 жыл бұрын
Its actually called muscle memory. Musicians drill on a piece and by only keeping the basic bits of the score going with the beat in your head, you let your fingers (and in this case, feet as well) do the work. Depending on how difficult the piece is and how much you practice usually determines how much you can rely on muscle memory while playing. Oh your still playing the song out in your head, but its kinda neat.
@pandas_01394 жыл бұрын
Its actually not a super hard piece, you just need to practice the simple parts and work up to what he's playing
@nano92854 жыл бұрын
Not really impressive. This one isn't to hard and its quite repetitive. I can 100+ songs from muscle memory (this one included btw) and I'm not that good of a piano player.

He's my favorite not because of how he acts but of his own complexity....he is not a bad guy.....he's just a man who is suffering everyday he exists because of his guilt. He wants out but can't. When he finally died, Jack didn't kill him......he set davy jones FREE. Free to spend all eternity with his beloved Calypso.

I too play the organ. It is an instrument that can not only sound like heaven, hell, the beauty of nature, and the awesome destruction it can bring, it embodies it. It is an instrument created to put forth the most raw and unbridled emotions, amplifying them with the utmost capacity of the human mind. It is a wonderfully complex and yet simple instrument, and you have mastered it. Bravo.
@benharder78165 жыл бұрын
Very well said, the organ resonates emotions so good and can warp me into an out of body experience. However, Simple? Organs have been around for basically ever, but with t creation of the pipe organ, it became the most complex invention of humanity until the telephone!

The Music Box part of his theme signifies the first ten years aboard the dutchman, calm, loving, and beautiful. The second part, the loud part is Davy Jones when Calypso betrayed him, immediately you hear the heartbeat and the distorted version of the music box. Davy Jones is filled with sadness and felt broken, he becomes so broken and comes of as harsh to many, but as soon as he is put back in that music box stage, he falls apart and is immediately kind and loving. Davy Jones is the perfect villain.

That song is probably one of the best scores for a movie. I feel like the story being told through it really captures who Davie Jones is. The beginning is almost a soothing lullaby that I feel represents they way he felt when with/thinking about calipso, a feeling of being comforted. Then it goes in to the second part that begging with this decent which I think is so cool. I feel it really well captures the pain anguish and emptiness cause by his hear break and betrayal. The third part I feel really pulls together elements of both. I think this represents Jones after he’s taken his head out. He doesn’t feel the pain anymore which I think is shown by the return of the lullaby sound but there is now an emptiness that I feel the bass part really demonstrates well.

You know, given this theme, if you played it for someone who didn't know what it was from, you could probably say its from Castlevania. I know its from Pirates of the Carribean, but I also get some Castlevania vibes.
