Thanks very much Paul. Now I'm free to spend all my spare cash on fags, booze and women of the night. Then I have to arrange all the DAWs in numerical order and find space for 150 hanging round the bookroom in piles - space that I don't have. Then I'm going for a nice lie down in a very dark room 😴😴

Congratulations. Great set. The books after 580 are great for the collection as well. The yellow spine should not hold you back from going for tje first 1000.

Thanks very much. First 1000? I don't think I have the stamina. My race is run. Besides a large majority of the later books are fantasy which is not a favourite genre of mine.

"A Maze of Death" was written near the end of the 1960s, later than his more "famous" novels, and is in transit. It's slick and fun to read though just as it is powerful and disturbing. "Deus Irae" should have been written about ten years before it was published, which was why Dick needed a co-author to finally get it finished. I don't think it really worked with Zelazny.

I thought the cover on Niift The Lean was pretty good so I looked it up on eBay to purchase a copy and wow 👀 👀 they are pricey… why does that book cost so much do you reckon?

Well, as far as I can tell the author became very fashionable and everybody seemed to want the DAW edition which pushed up prices. Now, here's a fact that will make your hair stand on end. A mint copy of this book will cost you the best part of £300. For a paperback - crazy huh ? 😮
