@@QnA513 that hadith clearly said that quran is left as guide and he ﷺ warned us about his ahlulbayt that we have to look after them, but not that ahlulbayt are to be guide like quran is or even more important than quran according to shia. The simple logic is this, shia believe imam is the current guide, but why are you leaving something as guide but then hide it for the last 1200 years? Thats a simple proof that shia understanding of that hadith is wrong and doesnt make sense at all.

And every priceless weighty thing is called thaqal. Therefore, he named them thaqalayn to highlight their significance and to extol their importance. Ibn al-Athīr al-Jazarī, al-Nihāyah fī Gharīb al-Ḥ adīth wa al-Athar You see he understood it to be FOLLOW the two, not just respect or love I can list you other Sunni ulema have concluded the same. Shia means party, group, not religion. It was a political party to fight against Muavia. The tribe of Muavia does not exist any longer but Shia word is used by Iranian Zorastian as a political group. Shia are good Muslim like anyone else. The question Syed asked was "where in the Quran does it say follow Sahabah" The Muhajir and the Ansar are Sahabah. Anyone who denied this is a fool. They are specifically "the foremost of Sahabah". Those who accepted Islam in the early stages of Islam, before Islam became strong. It does not say ALL Sahabah. Fine, no issues. A Sahabah according to the Sunnis is someone who met the Rasool(saw), believed in his message, and died as a Muslim. So the question is do you follow the Ansar and Muhajir as they are Sahabah.
