I know little of Islam simply due the place of my birth and what little exposure I had to it in my life. As a man, living in Los Angeles in America, I'm only exposed to the negative opinions from my Christian dominated environment. But I am a free thinker, well traveled Navy vet who has been to many places. I respected all people, just as I was respected by the good Muslim people when I visited places like Turkey, Egypt and Dubi. (1991-1992) My country has been unsuccessful at war since 1945. Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afganistan, Syria and now possibly Iran. Please do not look down upon the people who play no part and have no say in what our leaders do. We have elected a leader who was never fit to lead. In Cat Stevens, your people have living proof that God, is infact, Good. So, congratulations on that. Had we been a better people, then maybe he would have chosen us, some say. He was exposed to it all and he chose rightousness and his creator. Smart move regardless of religious affiliation. What ever heavens that be, know that Yusef Islam will sit high amongst it's leaders. Respect him in life, cuz It's too late when his lucky number gets called. Respect him in this time. As he will be in world history.

Mohammad is the messenger, correct? He is the warner, correct? Are Mohammad's instructions to guide you to the truth or not? If so, then why did Mohammad say to kill those who do not believe? 2: is Allah the guide? If Allah does not guide the disbeliever as the Quran says, then Mohammad had no reason to say if you don't believe you are to be killed. And Allah can't be the guide if he allows Mohammad to kill people. Otherwise, Allah would be guiding Mohammad and the companions to kill people. If Allah guides then you do not need Mohammad or Islam because Allah is guiding. So I assume that you have been guided by Allah in this conversation, so Allah is doing your thinking for you. But Allah does not guide me and if your words are from Allah, as he is the guiding you what to say, then his words have no effect on me so he simply is not all powerful. And if Allah is guiding you but Mohammad is not, then it is impossible for me to sow seeds of doubt because Allah guides you directly in what you say, therefore you are now the prophet and the messenger and the apostle and the warner. By using that ayat, you have proven Mohammad a false prophet. Are you sure you want to keep trying to defend what you know is not true? Allah has guided you so you do not need Islam, the Quran or Mohammad. Allah does not guide me so it is wrong of Muslims to attack people who criticize Mohammad. According to Allah, since he commanded you to not follow Mohammad bit him alone then you are in shirk because you have believed in Mohammad in guidance and obedience. You quoted the ayat that shows because you demand Mohammad to be obeyed and the world bow down to you, then you have associated yourself with Allah in your attempt to guide me. Do you want to defend Islam now?

What struck me the most of the Quran is, that the Islamites don't see Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior...For the Islamites Jesus Christ is "ONLY" A PROPHET !??? Jesus died at the cross but ressurected after three days to save every person on this earth to parrish !!...I think the Quran doesnot right to the importance of Jesus, the SON of GOD...Very sad that you, Yusuf didnt red the Bible FIRST...If you did and red the story of Jesus Christ you were NOT able to step into Islamism...(without willing insulting all the nice people of the Islam...They dont know the story of the SAVIOR pity to say ....that is the problem !)

When the Prophet Mohammed(PBUH) use to send out his missionaries all over the world with one clear message of preaching the ONENESS of ALLAH. The Jews do to really preach that. Although ONENESS is within the teachings of that faith. As it seems unlike missionary movements (Christianity or Islam); Jewish proselyte is limited and 'tribal' originally. At the time of Prophet Moses(PBUH) ONENESS was only accepted through his teachings so was at the time of Jesus (PBUH). Because everytime ALLAH(SWT) sends a Messenger He adds extra Law so that people would be guided to the straight path. So Mohammad(PBUH) being the last and final Messenger his teachings and Law will stay till the Judgement Day.

Something's wrong here. The Bible says YHWH is God and there is no other. Muslims will be quick to say YHWH and Allah are the same. But they are not! Why? Well, the Bible and the Qur'an are polar opposites for one. And YHWH doesn't give His word, rules and statutes to non Jews - Psalms 147:19-20. The other thing is Israel of which God has eternal covenants with. And God does not break His covenants - Psalms 89:34. What covenants? Abrahamic, Davidic and New Covenants, none of which are mentioned in the Qur'an. Muslim will say, "the bible has been changed or tampered with." God does not change - Malachi 3:6. God does not altar His word - Hebrews 6:18.

Verse that struck me the most is Luqman 32, the translation is: "And as soon as they are overwhelmed by waves like mountains, they cry out to Allah ˹alone˺ in sincere devotion. But when He delivers them ˹safely˺ to shore, only some become relatively grateful. And none rejects Our signs except whoever is deceitful, ungrateful". The same usually happened to me as we always pray to Allah sincerely when in trouble but when the trouble has gone, we tend to forget about Him and goes on with life like normal. May Allah forgive our sins and grant us jannah. Ameen.

I was educated in a Christian missionary school named Holy Cross School. I think the message of Jesus is quite simple. Jesus is not only god's creation, all of mankind is. He was influenced by Buddhist guideline called Bodhisattva: Non-violence, rule of law, human rights, liberty, freedom etc. If Jesus were to return tp earth today, he would be quite angry at his followers. I know what you are thinking. You are thinking what would Mohammad think when he sees Muslims beheading Muslims. Correct? You just need to follow what Trump is doing, fighting drugs, gays, domestic violence etc, as a faithful follower of Baghdadi. Why?

When any reasonable person reads this Qur'an, he will know that it is not man-made, and that each verse has a certain significance, A simple person will find the miracles of the Creator, which indicates his greatness in the creation of human himself in his being and in the universe, You do not need a scientist to look at your body and the universe until you know the miracle of the Creator, as this verse says 41:53 "We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness?"
