Something that always baffles me is that christians keep on quoting from the old testament and considers them part of their scriptures. The irony is that the old and new testament are polar opposites of each other. Its a theology that was settled upon after the other ones failed to encompass all the elements. Jesus can not be a lesser god hence trinity. Co equal and co eternal 9ne in essence. Paul made jesus devine but not equal to God, and he wasn't a trinitarian. Trinity comes later. For jesus to be God and walk the earth and die he needs 2 natures. Atonement requires a devine jesus on the cross able to take the sin of adam in all of us. I think paul issue is with the law. Original sin comes later. Every aspect of this theology is blasphemy of the highest order and undermines evthg what the true religion tries to establish.

So now it says that the "rū-aḥ" of God hovered over the surface of the water. What's a "rū-aḥ"? If you pronounce the word in Hebrew, you'll already get a sense of its root meaning, and even moreso in Arabic, as the Arabic equivalent is nearly identical, but the Arabic pronunciation is 'cleaner' and more in line with the meaning. You exhale when uttering the word, and the word in fact refers to "breath" or "breathing". It's the flow of air that you exhale. A slightly derived form therefor acquires the meaning of "wind". This is the primary meaning, but you can see why it's used to refer to "souls". The breath of life, which has this metaphysical aspect; eluding observation, formless. Without it, you'd pass away, and breathing is one of the major functions of living organisms. It's life. A living soul. Quick sidenote. The word "soul" has a West-Germanic origin. It literally refers to a "lake". In proto-Germanic, the ancient tribes used to believe that the fog that hovered over lakes at night were the spirits of the dead. And so their word for "spirit" (i.e. "soul") was rooted in that idea: the word for "lake" was used to refer to those 'apparitions'. When someone "expires", which has the word "spiritus" in it, it means that they stopped breathing, and passed away (i.e. the soul is no longer with the corporeal body). Me personally; I prefer to use "soul" as a translation for "rū-aḥ", even though "spirit" is slightly more accurate, and that's because "spirit" has a wider range of meanings and usages than "soul", and so "soul" reduces the possible misconceptions, since many people think "spirit" refers to ghosts, poltergeists, orbs, etc. The word "nap̄-šî" should be understood as "my self", and pertains more specifically to one's identity and self-awareness. "Rū-aḥ" can mean "spirit" (i.e. a "soul"), or it can mean "air", or "wind", or "breath", etc. So what is Gen. 1:2 communicating? This is according to Jewish authorities, like Rashi for example; but it's actually 'the Throne of Glory' that is hovering amidst the initial chaos of creation, which represents order and structure, and the centrality of the Divine. So God's Throne is levitating in the darkness, over the face of the deep waters. The verse doesn't directly say that, but it tells you HOW the Throne is hovering over the waters, while everything around is formless and empty. This is done by the breath of God. In other words: the Throne is carried upon the Divine wind of creation.

The reason that Christians keep the idea of their god dying on the cross to themselves is to avoid being cornered, even though they know that their entire salvation (Invented by Paul and the Churches he built) is based just on that. 💥 Dear Christians, let's explain *TRINITY* one more time! You say that The Father is God, The Son is God, The Holy Spirit is God, but they are not three gods but one God. Such a statement lacks all kind of logic, sadly. I'll give a small example just to shed some light over your statement. My name, for example, is Shady. I have, for example, 3 parts that makes me. The dietary restriction on pork was to set the Jews apart from the Gentiles by giving them a unique diet. The Jews were to be separate so that they would have minimal Gentile influence until the Messiah was birthed from among the Jews. Now that Messiah has come and risen from the dead, He extends salvation to ALL NATIONS. There is no separation necessary between Jew and Gentile, and dietary restrictions are therefore no longer needed. Dietary restrictions have nothing to do with “loving our neighbors as ourselves”. Dietary restrictions do nothing for us spiritually or eternally, and those restrictions do not increase love, joy and peace into this world. Jews and non-Jews are ONE NEW CREATION in Jesus Christ

May Allah guide this Christian to what pleases Him. He seems like a friendly soul but the Trinity has him chasing his tail. I feel sorry for Christians like this because they feel obligated by the emotional tie to the Trinity and so try to defend the indefensible and explain the inexplicable. May Allah guide us all.
