I first heard about Tuomas with his band Before the Dawn and their music video for Deadsong. My buddies band were playing a show (I was their drum tech at the time) and between sets their music video came on and I was hooked instantly. I asked one of the other techs who the band were and they told me it was Before the Dawn. I stuck with him, checking out his other bands and with this masterpiece I'm so glad I asked who the band was playing on the monitor all those years ago, this is really something special. Tuomas is obviously a man of many talents as well.

Mikko Heikkilä is the embodiment of (Finnish) melancholy. I'm very glad he is featured on this single along with so much improved DOS and nostalgic parallels to Dead Air back in the days. @@SatanStoleMyDevilHorns , well, Wolfheart's last album was kinda questionable here and there (although, "Everlasting Fall" and "Valkyrie" songs are perfect) and a couple of other things he wrote during the active period of his career, but despite this, he already immortalised his name for local and international scene in the first decade of this century, so now he can do whatever he wants (and, well, he does).

@Incognito Inc. It's the other way around. Dawn of Solace existed before BSA and due to poor label handling Tuomas started Black Sun Aeon while DoS lingered in purgatory. Then when he wanted to focus all his musical efforts into one band (Wolfheart) he officially retired Before the Dawn, Dawn of Solace, Black Sun Aeon and Routasielu. Glad to have Dawn of Solace back!
