yaksher I play both guitar and violin. Guitar can be harder in different aspects and it varies on what genres you play. But things like intonation on violin is really important whereas it's completely different on a fretted instrument

I respect that. Metal is an aesthetic choice in music now, it's not a lifestyle anymore. I think the underlying "spirit" of metal is bucking the status quo, so why not buck the impulse to be crass? Modern metal is a lot more similar to classical music in the approach and attitude. Look at AAL, etc.
