First thing I notice is how quickly she reacts to everything. She immediately tried to stop the bleeding, quick to dodge, grab keys and run, jump to the bathroom. She knew she should escape immediately and get away unlike on the other zombie movies where it takes them a long time to move or react or most of the time they just wait to get eaten. She doesnt have some kind of superpower like those from resident evil. She is just a normal human who's instinct is to value and preserve life. Such actions reflects very well on her job at the movie as a nurse.
@fawkespryde9183 Жыл бұрын
They also made her smart within reason of the situation she was in. When she tried the bathroom window at first, she was in full adrenaline mode, so she didn't think about it being locked only that she needed to escape. But once she got away from the door as it was breaking, you see her go for the latch as she had calmed down at that point.

The thing that always gave me chills is the foreshadowing. The news reports while they were having date night and the fact that the world was ending without them noticing. You can probably imagine that there were a couple zombies roaming around their house while they were showering. And the eerie music playing while the girl skated away. Zack snyder did a good job at creating the sense of dread coming before any zombies appeared.

@matthewcaughey88982 жыл бұрын
Your first priority should be staying alive. Anyone and everyone is your enemy at that point unless you really know and trust them. Secondly a shotgun will almost certainly stop a zombie, it might not kill then but at mid to close range you can blow off legs or heads with minimal ammunition expenditure. Under no circumstances should you stop to try to help anyone unless you can do so with minimal risk to yourself, in a survival situation people will not behave rationally and neither can you. Staying bunkered down in your own home is a preferable suggestion if it’s possible. Though if you do wanna move waiting for it to die down might not be a bad idea. Lastly having gear ready to go in a situation like this will give you a chance, a small one for sure but any chance in a survival situation will help. If you do have friends of family trying to get to you or your survival location advise them not to stop for anyone or anything. It’s survival and unfortunately there’s no place for compassion or caring.

This is one of the greatest horror movies of the 21st century. I really can’t believe it’s been almost 20 years. What made this zombie movie different is the character development. A wide range and depth of characters who you grew to care about. The movie takes you on a roller coaster of emotions, with plenty of tragedy and look away moments, and plenty of humor peppered in between. The DVD containing the extra scenes like the news bulletin and Andy’s descent into madness just added to an already excellent movie. It’s too bad they didn’t make a sequel with the 4 survivors fending off the zombies on the island and being rescued and brought to a place where the virus was contained or so they thought

Maybe in the process of the girl getting bitten she ran over to Ana’s and used a key, but in the process turned before she got to their bedroom. If you noticed when the front door was open to the house when Ana escaped, the little girl had to open it before she turned because these zombies can’t operate doors. Also sure Ana and Louis would have heard something banging their front door open

Imagine waking up to this nightmare. Fast zombies terrify me, humanity would definitely go extinct if they existed
@efrainsoto964 ай бұрын
Fast zombies can definitely add an intense layer of terror to the zombie genre. Their speed and agility make them much more dangerous and unpredictable compared to traditional slow-moving zombies. If they existed, humanity would face an incredibly tough battle for survival. The key to surviving such a nightmare would likely involve strategic planning, quick reflexes, and fortified defenses to hold off the fast-moving hordes. It would be a grim scenario, but it would also push human ingenuity and resilience to the limit.
@roberthaworth89914 ай бұрын
Using reasonable assumptions as to the abilities of the zombies and the vector of their creation and spawning, both mathematically and as a practical matter there's an excellent chance that humanity survives and defeats them. And it would not take too long -- a matter of weeks at most. But A LOT of humans will die in the initial few days.
@efrainsoto964 ай бұрын
Your assessment is intriguing. It’s true that, with effective strategies and assuming certain reasonable parameters, humanity could potentially overcome a zombie outbreak. Key factors would include the speed of the zombie infection, the nature of their behavior, and the response efficiency of human forces. The initial period would indeed be critical, with high casualties expected, but with rapid and coordinated action, it’s conceivable that civilization could adapt and survive in the long term.

I like to imagine the paramedics who ran over the neighbor with the gun were some of Sarah's old coworkers doing her a solid on their way out of town: "Hey, Mark? Isn't that Sarah?" "Shit, that's right, she mentioned living around here. Wait, is that asshole pointing a gun at her?!" (thump, splat!) "Not anymore, he's not!"

One of the scariest zombie film of my childhood. And definitely one of my favorite zombie films. Made by one of my favorite directors. The one and only Zack Snyder. "When there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the Earth."

Zack Snyder be underrated asfff

that line is from a different movie, it's called "Dawn of the Dead", and was made in 1978 by a guy called George Romero. ;-)

@@ImaginaryNate not only underrated but wrongfully vilified. I wouldn't even call him my favourite director but I'd be lying if I said I didn't love what he does.

Johnny cash with the opening credits was the cherry on top. Superb
@efrainsoto964 ай бұрын
Johnny Cash's presence in the opening credits really does add a special touch. His distinctive voice and the tone of his music can set the perfect mood for a show or film, making it memorable and impactful from the very start. What project are you referring to?

Can’t be overstated how absolutely terrifying running, punching, climbing zombies are.
@efrainsoto964 ай бұрын
It sounds like you’re describing a particularly intense type of zombie scenario. Zombies that run, punch, and climb definitely add a heightened level of fear and urgency compared to the traditional slow-moving, lumbering undead. The sense of danger and the challenge they present can make for a very thrilling and terrifying experience in games, movies, or books.

4:55 when you notice the general public watching the movie being filmed and the fire department waiting to put the fire out on the left of the screen. You won't be able to unsee it. Lol. 😂

Let's just say in the movie those were stunned civilians and a fire fighter who Had just responded to the car fire and were just clueless as too what the hell was going on and later on the zombies came for them end of story (:
