I saw Rise, Dawn, and War three times each in theaters. This trilogy had a major chokehold on me-I can’t even explain.

The ending shot of Caesar's eyes, is supposed to show u/focus on how human his eyes look. My poor boy Caesar's looked so betrayed, devastated and scared when the good human family found him. 😢😢 I honestly was sooo fearful for his life, love him & attached so much after RISE it's insane. All hail 💚CAESAR💚 Also love & noticed how Caesar named both his sons after the 2 female apes who mean the most to him. Lovely "💙Blue eyes💙" named after his special eye colour ofc but also mainly named after grandmother "Bright Eyes" Caesar's bright eyed mother. 💚Baby Cornelius💚 of course named after his mother "Cornelia", who we also saw caged as a child with Caesar in Rise. (Cornelia was the young one, with a toy rocking horse, who was then sold to the lab, where Caesar later rescued her from with the rest of the poor apes he could find. Also guys, u really underestimate how over grown things would be after 10 years. If u see a lawn after a few months and weeds in garden, you realise how fast it came be lol

I love how Koba's such a little sociopath, that; a) he knows that humans laugh and like it when apes perform and make fools of themselves b) he picks up the weapon like 'oooh... this looks fun', then fires off a few random pop shots at them like ' :) it *is* fun'

Again, I am impressed and happy with your reaction! You're one of the very few I have watched who noticed, remembered and mentioned Rocket; that he debuted in the first film, and how he used to be just Caesar's bully, but is now a very loyal friend.

Hi, thankyou for continuing with the planet of the apes reboot trilogy. I hope you are both well. This movie raises the bar even further than rise did so i’m sure you’ll enjoy it and i’m looking forward to you watching the last part too. War for the planet of the apes because the bar is raised even higher. Thanks again. Take care😘🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Hi you have watched the 1968 version 8 months ago so you have forgotten. I watched 1968 and 2011 series immediately right after. By doing so, you will catch all the references of 1968 in 2011, 2014 and 2017. Which is pretty cool. There are a lot in 2011. Also you have to watch the deleted scenes for all the three movies Rise OTPOTA 2011, Dawn OTPOTA 2014 and War OTPOTA 2017. The deleted scenes are IMPORTANT but had to removed due to commercial reasons. Because they are removed, some scenes in the commercial releases seemed abrupt and the context missing, especially for War of the planet of the apes 2017, some scenes do not make sense without the deleted scenes.

These movies have fairly little to do with the originals. This is a reboot, not prequals, the originals were based around humans destroying themselves with nuclear weapons. The Mark Wahlberg version though disliked by many was a far more faithful to the original's storyline. While there are Easter eggs that point to the originals in these movies you shouldn't take them as anything but a nod to the original movies.

In the previous movie when Caesar asked Will Rodman, "Am I a pet?" and "What is Caesar?". Will should have told him that Caesar and he are both great apes. I don't believe Caesar would have continued to think that humans were better than other apes. I think he wouldn't have trusted Koba based on immutable characteristics but made him earn it based on merit.

The original series of five movies is a different storyline from these reboots, although there are limited points in common; but you cannot think of the original Planet of the Apes as the future of what these newer movies are showing. It's worth watching the entire original series, even though the production values deteriorate somewhat from the original, because together they constitute a wonderful epic story; but the story of the new ones, though inspired by the originals, is ultimately very different. The Tim Burton remake starring Mark Wahlberg is very unsatisfactory, mostly due to an ending that doesn't really make any sense - a problem that shows up in several Tim Burton movies to a lesser degree, but never as badly as in that one.
