At dawn on December 21 the sun pours through the window into the Nuraghe lintel of the door and goes to illuminate the central niche of the circular chamber. The Nuraghes are prehistoric monuments of Sardinia dated around 2000 BC

Sempre a Aidomaggiore, nel mese di maggio 2013, è stata scoperta una pietra di ambito nuragico che reca una scritta in caratteri protocananaici "NUR YHWH", decifrata dal Prof. Gigi Sanna. Nur ha il significato di LUCE, YHWH era il Dio cananaico, diventato Yahweh per il popolo semitico. La pronuncia esatta potrebbe essere NUR(Y)AKU = NURAGHE ossia "La luce del Toro".
