TL/DR: pokemon was a huge part of my childhood and i wanted to share that with people :) LONG VERSION: pokemon was always such a huge part of my childhood, be it the games, the anime, manga, i even dabbled with the TCG for a bit. i also love digital art, and have been drawing things for years, but i’ve never edited a video before this. i wanted to combine my joy of the two things to see if maybe someone would like it too. i honestly just thought, what the heck, maybe i’ll like doing this, and hopefully people will like the content along the way :) and i’m honestly really surprised and touched that so many people enjoyed the videos we made, and that joy honestly made me want to make more right away. not sure if i want to stick to pokemon only, but i’m enjoying making these videos now, and i think i’m learning to edit better with each new video too :)

I honestly don't think Gible's brain is large enough for it to understand it's doing something wrong. Completely smooth brained and I love it for it

At the very least Gible's Draco Meteor shenanigans gave us some hilarious compilations.

Am I only one who was absolutely *convinced* that Dawn's Piplup was a girl right up until the last Sinnoh episode, where Dawn rather randomly refers to him as a "big boy" after he's had a moment of upset about having to say goodbye to Pikachu??? That revelation was utterly *shocking* to me as a kid, lol.
@Jaded_AmberАй бұрын
he was always in that cheerleader outfit with dawn, so i kind of get how people thought that, but i do think there were a few other episodes where it’s mentioned
@emilycarrick3570Ай бұрын
@@Jaded_Amber So, according to Bulbapedia, the first mention of Piplup's gender is in the episode "Where No Togepi Has Gone Before!", where the titular Togepi successfully uses Attract on him. Pikachu, Meowth, and Brock's Croagunk are also affected, lol. Interestingly enough, this episode was also the first official confirmation of *Pikachu's* gender! Yes, it apparently took the writers *that* long to confirm that everyone's favorite electric mouse was a guy, lmao.

@@emilycarrick3570but Pikachu have gender differences so we know from the beginning that it's a boy
@petrnovak7235Ай бұрын
@@emilycarrick3570 Admittedly, I too thought Piplup was a girl until that episode. But at that time, I was also pretty sure Pikachu is male (though who wasn't, right?) and actually paired him with Piplup 😅 But, to be honest, I am still OK with that pairing. I mean, what other Pokémon is better match for Pikachu personality-wise? Well, maybe Goh's Raichu, but I can't imagine Pikachu with Raichu at all. That's like betraying who Pikachu is in his core, right?

@@emilycarrick3570well we already knew pikachu was a guy based off his tail being regular too though

Many people says that gible should've evolved, but I think gible's personality is too iconic and too adorable for it to evolve.

Here my version of "Piplup, Up and Away." of what it should happen like during the battle against both Team Rocket and the rampaging Rhyperior while struggling it finally at long last decided to evolved into Prinplup in order to protect Dawn. At the end of the episode Dawn apology to Prinplup while it accept that it evolved with a different personality but still have the memories of Dawn and their friends.

I hate that they never learned their lesson on this
I remember this episode when I was a kid. I always thought it was very unique, with the gang searching for one of their own pokemon, that didn’t want to be found.

I felt so bad for Piplup that episode. Like sure its not Gible's fault but at least warn Piplup when they are training Also Piplup throwing a whirlpool is basically him going full power. He's putting his all into those attacks. On a seperate note, I love everything about Piplup. His designs, movesets, personality. Best pokemon ever hope its the starter for ZA

First, watching this episode, I thought Piplup was being a massive drama prince, but watching this again he had every right to crash out at Gible especially since not only did he not apologise but he and Ash learned nothing.

Okay, since you didn't have the guts to say it, I will. Gible would most definitely be punished if Pikachu was the victim of this. I guarantee 100% Ash would never tell Gible to use Draco Meteor to find Pikachu, even if that would be the only way to do so. Just sayin.
