I knew Dawn for 12 years, since 2008. Our hearts are breaking. She contacted Covid 2 weeks ago. Her symptoms were not severe, she said the worst was the muscle pains. Yesterday, (Tues 12/29) she was allowed out of quarantine, as her symptoms had disappeared and her temp was normal. We think the Covid damager her heart. At her best, she truly was MaryAnn... kind, generous and sweet.

Dawn Wells and the rest of the cast helped me make it through the most awkward years of growing up! Keeping me and millions of others entertained after school. Gilligan's Island is still popular today, all around the globe and can only be attributed to: a wholesome storyline, a humorous plot and very gifted acting!

Dawn Wells came from a 60s TV genre that was stacked with some incredible talent including Marlo Thomas (That Girl), Barbara Feldon ( Agent 99), Barbara Eden ( Jeanie ), Elizabeth Montgomery (Bewitched) and Sally Fields ( Sister Bertrille). I’m sure I missed a few other, but it was Mary Ann that I loved the most. It feels like a piece of me has died. I remember feeling this same way when Hugh Beaumont passed away. RIP Mary Ann, it been a very long wonderful three hour tour.
