Arab countries never considered Palestinians to be a separate nation. They are part of Syria Jordan and Egypt. So the entity of Palestine is supported by the Arab world only in the context of blaming Israel if Israel didn’t exist Palestinian identity would not exist as well. If you disagree just look into the history for long-duration from 1947 to 1967 Egypt and Jordan ruled Palestinian territories but they never considered giving them independence. Jordan just accepted those territories as part of Jordan and Egypt ruled them as a colony.
