Palestine deserves recognition and its citizens need right to exist, Safety, better conditions and human rights. A ceasefire is crucial. However, Sri Lanka is unable to sever ties with Israel due to its strong backing by leading economies. Supporting Hamas, a terrorist organization, is out of the question. We appreciate Israel's past support against terrorism in Sri Lanka. But we must not become allies with Israel, especially considering its actions against Palestine. It's wise to remain neutral like India, given our precarious economic situation.
