Imagine if an emp hits tomorrow. All batteries fucked instantly. You can kickstart the trail still. Ive heard people say you cant push start it because the way its a semi automatic so the kickstart really matters its a big deal esspecially if youre poor and your battery dies you can still daily ride it on a desd battery and thats actually the mire likely sinario.
@TheAnnoyingBoss3 күн бұрын
@@CaptKwameif you have a supply of gas and oil when the apocolypse starts you will go farther on less gas than everyone else at least until it expires. Everyone riding in f150 f250 accords camrys corollas civics, theyll be out of gas and wont be able to het more theyll burn through a 16 gallon 22 gallon 36 gallon tank in a day only driving 500 miles and a trail 125 you can go 500 miles on less than 5 gallons. 1000 miles on 10. I found one about an hour away at smaller dealer. I told them I wanted it, but decided to back out. It's still there I believe, if I wanted it I could still call and get it. I backed out though because I had a friend pass away in a motorcycle accident. It scared me away from them and I thought I was over it enough to get back on something small like this...that fear is just imprinted in me though. I really love the looks of this little bike though and I already feel regret not getting it. At a huge crossroads here..and while they're not the most expensive bikes, that's still a pretty big amount of money for me. And hard to spend that on just taking a chance.

I lost a dear friend to a bike accident many years ago and I completely understand. It felt strange getting on my bike after it happened and I stopped riding for a while. There's really nothing like the freedom you feel from riding in my opinion. Thanks for stopping by the channel. Sorry to hear about your friend. Good friends are the best!

I’m probably going to get the Super Cub, as the Trail 125 didn’t get the 4 high and low gears. Also the dealers been marking them up and they aren’t even available. You have to order one and wait for it.
@PSBEadventures2 жыл бұрын
The 4 speed trans in the CT has been all I've needed and I've had it in a ton of crazy spots. If you plan on mostly city and town driving the Cub may be a better choice. I do mostly offroad. If you need low gears, I use a 13t front sprocket. It's super simple to change. We have a video on here about changing it. If you're in the South Eastern US, I can point you to a couple dealers that sell MSRP out the door and get them regularly

if you cant afford the 5k price tag or cant find one. you can always get an ssr lazer 5 and put a bigger motor in it.(comes with 50cc and pedals) you can get them new for 1200(some places have em for 999 free shipping) and a new motor is about 400 on amazon. plus some pegs and other nick nacks on and youd be in under 2k. only downside to the ssr is it has aluminum wheels they aren't spoked. wouldnt be hard to get some new ct125 wheels to go on it tho.

I think they should sell 125 and 250 of ever minimoto. A 125 and 250 dax. A 125 and 250 trail. A 125 and 250 grom. The 125 will be better for around locally but some people crazy they try to climb alaska or go on highway and a rebel 300 crf300l has 276cc motor with a 6 speed it can pull over 80mph so you coukd cross country at like 70 if you wanted to. The 125 motor in the trail 125 on atock sprokets will hit 50 easily but getting to 55 is not as easy. My trail will do 53 still on the break in period so maybe on flat ground itll do 55 but if the wind blows shes struggling to do 49. So a 250cc would be mice you could do 75 motor still rung out but i mean the 125 motors weve seen them at max speed for years they will still go tens of thousands of miles at full pin so i mean it is what it is to me a trail series it wouldnt really work if the motor was too big. Frankly the 125 trail is really a well preportioned unit.

@@PSBEadventures I don’t care about traveling, to be frank, I finally gave up. I bought an UBCO 2x2 electric motorcycle with an extra battery so I’ll have about 150 mile range for a camping bike. Advantages: no fluids or mechanical upkeep, 2 wd, don’t need to worry about getting gas in way out of the way areas, can recharge via solar panels on my RV. Lighter 150 lbs vs 250. Disadvantages: top speed 35 vs 50 or so. Always need to have the need to recharge in mind when going a distance, costs almost twice as much and when you add accessories and and extra battery Katy bar the door! It’s not a Honda.
