When I did this Day One, on the third fight, the council fight, all of the interrupts were blown on the guy BEFORE the shield down because no one saw it/expected it. So we wiped because all interrupts were on cool down. It was amazing.

While Altana soars on wings of freedom, Promathia is bound in chains; his confinement is said to be a limitation he has placed upon himself. This was such an awesome homage to FFXI. The notes in Sky were such an accurate adventurer experience. I can't wait for the Promathia & Aht Urghan walks😸

Day 1 was crazy... I wanted to cry... It wasnt as bad as Nier were people died 9-12 times, but most people did end up with 3-6 deaths per person.... Suprisingly no single wipe.

Ooft you’re doing hunts on Tuesday? I hope you ran it by the hunt train conductor. That’s one group you don’t want to mess with. They’ll literally blacklist you from the game if you early pull never mind set up your own train 😂 Also the best way to experience alliance raid is the first week, first day if you dare. they get overpowered quickly and when people learn mechanics become boring. You should try for the next one on day 1.

Item Level already ruining difficulty of the alliance raids. You need to do them on day 1 if you want the raw, difficult version. Don't mock the sprinklers and groundskeepers. You're going to cast a simple spell and those bastards are going to aggro from halfway across the map and come murder you. Ark Angels was a notoriously awesome series of battles in XI, whether individual or the final battle against all 5. It was also funny when the Warriors of Dorkness first appeared the comments and references to them being nothing but Ark Angel ripoffs was amusing. A hume (HM), galka (GK), elvaan (EV), tarutaru (TT), and mithra (MR) character all represented. Took me far longer than I'd have liked to admit it took me to notice the names matching their race in XI than it should have. And shoutouts to "Papalymo" getting a few more voicelines. Naoshi Mizuta was the main composer for so much of FFXI music. It's an absolute masterpiece that I still consider one of the bests. It isn't as exploratory into modern instruments as FFXIV does, but with what it explores it is excellent. Mug raised for poor Roagrimm. And not to go to far to spoil the XI story, but the Shadowlord did more than any of the chump villains in XIV manage to do. This game has only brought tears to me once (damn you Seto), but after the Shadowlord dies and the original main screen login music plays for XI managed to do it.
