So just to be clear, this ain't new. It was published and then removed from KZbin a long while back, and I haven't uploaded it before for various reasons. Dax is not 'back'. However, he IS alive and he HAS been writing and recording. Yes, it's been long. No, there's still no exact date on a new album. Just have to wait a while longer.

Thank goodness. I thought he was pulling a TOOL on us. He's my favorite musician on the planet. I'll never forget watching him play at Zepplins in Fat City. His music changed my life and opened my mind to a whole new universe. I remember during one show, people thought I was on drugs I was so entranced. Hearing "Otherworldly Dreamer" for the first time was like opening a door to a new reality. I'm looking forward to bathing my brain whatever beautiful madness he shares with us.

I must say, Dax Riggs must be one of the most talented musicians I’ve ever seen. He’s been the lead singer of Acid Bath, which was very intense (usually), and now he’s going solo and doing alternative music. That’s a massive transition.

Yeah, Dax has been in a few projects. And though he hasn’t put out new music in many years, he definitely didn’t slow down after Acid Bath ended. On that note, “Alternative” can be described in many different ways. I mean in a way, Acid Bath (which were a Metal band with elements of other music) were Alternative - at least compared to what was going on in the mainstream. But that said, he went in a very Bluesy direction solo. There’s indeed Alternative Rock elements there, but as with most of his music, it’s more than that

I look up to dax, just because of what I hear in his sound. Sometimes it seems like im the only one in the world that exists, cause how hallow the rest od everything feels.. Then I hear dax :) n I smile n cry at the same time knowing someone else out there is whole, soul n flesh. My dad knew Dax & all the acid bath dudes since he was very young. Was in a band with Audie before he died. I was raised with this shit. As time went on, he just became a worse & worse person. dax is small him and his band drive a van around the us. this was about 5 years ago but when he was doing deadboy their was the potential for it to blow up big but i dont think he wants that. he likes being kinda underground i think this was his first video and maybe his last anyway alot of this is from interviews and articles from research
