It's a song that men desperately needed. An anthem to showcase to the world what we go through. Dax is giving a voice to those who are unable to speak themselves. To the men who are afraid to speak up, Dax is speaking for them.

This is my first time listening the remix, and it is more powerful than before. The original is great it starts to spread a message. But with this one, it send a more powerful message and with the woman's perspective involved shows that it's an important topic that needs to be discussed.

anyone that does know kow why this song is so powerful is because even if we have a great women that supports us we know friends that never had that. Dads that worked themself to death before someone was brave enough to do this and need this message in the the world because there are guys ready to check out or give up all over the place.

i dont know either of you, obviously. However, watching your reactions to this song gives me a feeling in my gut that you have BOTH been there. I can see the pain in this mans eyes as he relates to eveyr word thats sung. The struggle you went through. The hurt bottled up. I can see the pain in her eyes as well. Hurt caused by watching her husband be in pain and go through everything he did. The further and further the song played the more pain the two of you felt. God Bless you both.

Thank you for your comment. You would be correct. The last 5 years have been a rough ride for us. It hasn’t been until recently that we have been able to work through it all. From December to February of this year I had the lowest of lows with depression and anxiety I’ve ever had. Luckily, I recognized it and sought out help. It wasn’t until April that things really started to change. It ended up fracturing my wrist, this forced me to slow down and face things head on. Honestly, this has been a blessing to us and brought us closer as a couple. Before, I would just shove it deep down cause I felt like I was causing her more stress and anxiety and I hated seeing her worry, but by not talking to her it made it just as bad. By talking about things we can work on things together, instead of by ourselves. Your comment is exactly why we chose to react to this video. Conversation need to happen on this topic to allow people to heal and feel like they aren’t alone. Thank you.

Ben backers part is my favourite , his voice to the Jesus wept line is just perfect . My dad taught me it’s ok to cry too. He used to cry at tv shows and I’d make fun of him. Now pretty much everything that’s remotely sad or sweet makes me cry. But I embrace it . My name is crybaby online. Haha . I’m not ashamed at all to cry anymore . Probably just came with age , and getting sick of hiding it but I really don’t care anymore .

I love how you pass so much judgment on our relationship from one video. Like was said in a previous comment, this was the 4th take on this video, it was 1am and we were both tired. She typically doesn’t like to be on camera, but she wanted to do this one together. She is naturally a quiet and shy person. She commented on the ones she wanted to. You can think what you may, but your judgments are unwarranted and wrong.

That's kind of hard to do with a 10 min song. They would have to go back and relisten to each part and break it down because I don't know about you but not many people being that moved by a song can remember every single word. I have a photographic memory and I know I couldn't remember every single word to a 10 min song without going back and relistening.
