Wow… I just had to go back in video time to checkout your first vlogs and I was not surprised. Your current video posts show in Maine about to cross the kennebec River and to face the 100 mile Wilderness and your last summit to Mt. Katahdin Maine . I only started watching later on and have so enjoyed your sharing and photos of your thru hike of the AT. What can I say ghat so many others have said to compliment and support you along this great adventure. You are a treat to the heart of so many, an inspiration to so many and an aspiration to me to venturing out even at 72 to hike the AT to experience what you have shown to your subscribers. I will miss knowing how you are doing in you daily adventure here it was the AT Thru Hiker and I only hope you realized the value of you posts provide those that view them in just how they might take from what you have shared and in some small of big way add or make adjustments in how they live their own lives back in the world. I pray you produce some after the AT vlogs about equipments pros & cons, ways to better enjoy an AT Thru Hike adventure and a little about how you feel and cope with being back in the world and transferring what you learned about copy on the AT and now back into the world. Love you and still praying for your safe completion. ❤😊

I am following your hike, and am so glad I am. You come across in your videos as so real, authentic and very down to earth. I loved your first couple of days capturing small parts of your journey and sharing with people here. Anxiety is real, and what an awesome way to "work through it" by hiking AT. I think you have your priorities straight and am excited to watch your journey. In a couple years I want to be as cool as you and hike/eat/sleep the AT 🙂

Your anxiety is adorable but i wish i would had your ambition when i was your age. I was laid off from work in the early 90s and made my intentions known to my parents i wanted to hike the AT when i was offered a state govermnet job.....AAAHHHH! 😂 I live vicariously through all youtubers on the trail and i wish you the best of luck. Btw, your computer icon during your blank stare was hilarious! God Speed!

Just subscribed. Learned about you on Stick’s channel. This “opening” vlog was good. You should talk more about why you chose to go on this adventure. It’s always interesting to hear what motivates a person to drop life and go start a different one, for at least 6 months, if not years. We’ll see. Good luck.
