In the morning he devours his prey, and in the evening he divides the plunder" - my CSB study bible says that, "Jacob's blessing points to the tribe of warriors Benjamin would father. For example, Saul, the first king of Israel, was from the tribe of Benjamin."

I also thought of Benjamin's descendants. But I remembered that quote from Matthew 7:15 "beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves". Thought that the repeated wording was noteworthy but I'm very very new so idk if this has any significance yet.

Kanoe, thank you for that sweet prayer, for all of us who are mourning the loss of a loved one. My youngest son was 32yrs old, and passed away from Covid-19, on 2/9/2021. There's not a second that goes by, that I'm not thinking about my son. I prayed for God to help me find a bible study last year, when the Holy Spirit directed me to your first video. I am ending my three week fast today and the hunger I have is for Christ to reveal His plan for me and allowing me the precious gift of worshiping Him! Sharing notes on Benjamin's blessing. I use the NKJV Woman's Study Bible and the study notes read: "Benjamin. Although a small tribe, Benjamin gave Israel its first king, Saul (1 Sam. 9:1,2). Benjamites were fierce fighters (Judg. 19-21)." The commentary I use mentions Benjamin's small tribe that would be noticed for its fierce prowess.

Something that stood out to me this time was how Joseph’s brothers still were concerned about his forgiveness. Even though Joseph had told them once before that they were forgiven and even though it’s been years, it’s clearly weighing on their hearts. Just goes to show how sin can really mess us up sometimes, even if just mentally/spiritually.

Kanoe, I am 77 years old. I have read and studied the Bible all the way through several times and in several versions, but this study with you is, by far, the best I have ever done. This study has me diving deeper into every verse and chapter to be able to see the heart of God and also searching for Jesus in every passage. I am learning so much from you, and I am so glad I happened across this study. Thank you so much, also, for that beautiful prayer. I lost my husband of 32 years on March 22, 2022. I am still grieving him. I live alone with my little doggie. My grief has gotten to the point of quiet weeping when I am alone at night. He was saved a few months before he passed away, so I know I will see him again. There was a purpose there. I just don’t know what and may never know this side of heaven. So thank you so much for the sweet prayer. Gen. 49:27-28 - The Tony Evans Commentary: “They would be a tribe with a violent spirit, which is seen perhaps most vividly in their two most famous descendants. King Saul, Israel’s first king, was a Benjaminite; so too was the persecutor-turned-apostle Paul.” This was all I did find, though. Again, thank you so, so much. ❤️❤️🙏🙏

♥️I grieved my grandparents very long time probably 10 years. Until I really met Jesus at the cross they were the only true love I had known plus my children and 1 sister. So really it was unhealthy. I should have met Jesus Christ at the cross sooner but I was stuck in grief.

I'm studying Ancient Christianity and the Roman Empire.. I can't help but apply the scripture of "what the enemy meant for evil God used for good" to the reign of Hadrian ..he built pagan temples on top of the holy places of the nativity, the crucifixion and the tomb as he wanted to cover them as if they didn't exist. But when Helena , Constantine 's mother followed his path she had the temples removed and found that in covering the holy sites , it preserved them. She found pieces of the cross , nails, and thorns. ❤

We used to have Bible Study sessions every week in our church, but since it moved to our New Location, We haven't had an opportunity to revive it again due to ongoing construction. ♥️ we as humans are never ever in a place to judge that is God’s Place to judge. Only He is Worthy to do that for only He sees the desire and intents of the hearts. But I know a lot of humans like to think they own that right. They do NOT! Only Father God does. I have been so guilty of this in my younger years. Oh how wrong I was. I know that and repent and have repented for that. Occasionally I still find myself having a thought and I pull it down. Realizing only Father God discerns the motives and intentions of one’s heart.

Kanoe this is great. I have a But...and I remember but God. I'm struggling through listening & watching even when I read the scriptures first. I'm struggling with sight & as I watch you move quickly which is needed but I miss what you write & then see you speaking. @@ginacox9652 thank you so much. I've done this too since I don't have a laptop I only have my cell ph so I pause & try to go back. I do look through the email to find where she posts her notes. It's a process I usually catch up the next day. ( with other physical issues aside from retinal damage after cataract surgery I strained my neck & couldn't turn it for days before seeing the dr & being put on muscle relaxants with anti-inflammatory & steroid injection so got further behind). I love this Bible study and am doing my best to catch up. I'm so blessed here. Thank you, sorry for rambling. 💕

I understand. I don't have the study Bible she uses, I study from the NIV study Bible. So I try and read ahead of her,and go back and follow her. She reads fast, but again, I get it. But am so very grateful for Kanoe reading the scriptures out since I posted became very ill to ER treated for severe dehydration & tested positive for c-o- vid. Home needing the Word and prayers so have been listening as far behind now. But encouraged by God's faithfulness especially being in my 70s living on my own so very sick. I was looking for Jesus in chapter 49..I found God.Its like at the end of our life,like Jacob giving out blessings and curses to each of his sons,I believe,we too will come face to face with God for judgement or rewards for our life. We should ask God for forgiveness and hopefully he will have mercy on us when we stand before him.But we have to truly repent and do right.😊

PRAISE BE TO GOD. When I was once 'hit out of nowhere', in a painful, unjust situation, the promise of Gen. 50:19-20, "what man meant for evil, God meant for good" was what a believer shared with me and it gave me PEACE. Once the storm passed, I clearly saw God's goodness and faithfulness to deliver me. . He knows the path ahead and always has a plan to get us through it...and a purpose for it.
