When the rockers look solid from the outside it's difficult to motivate yourself to tear them apart. Thanks so much for the real world example of why this should be done! There were nests in the torque boxes on my work in progress - it only makes sense that there will be nests in the rockers.

Hey buddy, I’m impressed how chilled you appear on these videos, but I do know from personal experience over the years that working on your own might be slightly slower but is often easier than negotiating and directing work with one or two “willing” helpers, which can be a little frustrating some times....Please stay safe now and keep wearing your safety specs! 👍🇬🇧

Very informative video. I'm glad I found your channel to give me an idea of what I'll be up against in restoring my Boss 302. If you decide to go with a different clutch pedal, to use with a cable, I'd be interested in buying the original one from you. A previous owner swapped out the engine and transmission for a 351 w/auto so they took the clutch pedal out.😡

Sweet I love all that shinny new metal so clean and rust free you gotta love that. Looks like if a guy wants a brand new mustang from the sixties you could just build him one completely from scratch. But I guess you must have to have a shell for the vin number or it cannot be street legal? Could you make one from totally all new parts with out the shell and make it legal to drive? Or is it even possible to make one from nothing but panels?
@paulglover3275
@paulglover3275 3 жыл бұрын
An amazing job . Just a quick question , as you do so many of these rebuilds I assume your replacement panels are from the same place would they not supply you a floor panel without the parts you don't require. that would save you a good few hours.

Glad to see you back building. Are there holes from manufacturing that let the mice in, or are they just from the rust holes? You do a lot in a small space. I'm building a 37 Chev PU resto-mod. My MIG skills are marginal, but I'm learning. Trying to get into a class at a local tech college. Juggling the chassis and the cab is my current Dilemma. I am working in my 3 car garage thet I also keep my wife's car, my pickup and our Polaris Ranger. I am going to try rigging something with my engine hoist to lift the cab on and off as I will need it for fitment, especially when I get to stuffing that LT! with 6 speed auto in it.. I'm storing the rest in a 20' car hauler.
