Awesome day! ALOT of vloggers use music in their intro and their ending and picture segments but just talk without music. But it was a good video. I enjoyed watching your trip up Katahdin! Best of luck!

I am really enjoying your videos. We did a section hike of the AT in New Jersey this year, and on the last day, I fell and broke my leg. So my hiking is curtailed for awhile. I have been living vicariously through AT hiker vlogs. Most of the Nobos that I have been following are finishing up or getting off the trail, so I was glad to find a few Sobo vlogs. There are not nearly as many of those, so it's nice to find an excellent one like yours. I am about 20 days behind, but plan to watch them all!

Great day! Voice audio is getting better but the music is still too loud. The music needs to be a compliment to your vocals not competing with them. Still having to turn volume up to hear you talk and WAY down when the music comes on.

I always thought, that if I where ever to get the chance at a trough hike of the AT, that I would do it SOBO. I live in North Carolina, so in some sense, I would be just walking home.

Hi there. As there is no intro to your journey I was wondering if there is a back story for your trek, where you are from, and if you are related. It will be nice to watch sobo travels for a change. Have fun!!!!!!

im really thinking of doing a Sobo. but im not understanding was this part optional? where did you leave your packs? (any fear of them being gone when you got back?) and if this is the official start? why go up just to come back down? and start another trail.. And lastly,, the rock with the bar across it, HOW did you get up that?

The start of the AT is at the top of Katahdin where the sign is. The only way to get to it is to hike up to it. Packs were left with the park service at the base. We weren’t worried about them being stolen because every does it. We used the bar as step or ladder to climb up. Hoped this helped!

We didn’t go all the way to knife’s edge. We just went up the Hunt Trail to the summit and then came back down. Sorry for the late reply!
