You'll encounter very friendly stray dogs following especially in tourist spots. It's a common thing in here. Similar to cats in Istanbul, turkiye. Just get them something to eat and pet them. Meanwhile, when you said the water is very clear, i was like "her eye sight is ok?" 😂 Colombo's beach is the most polluted. Go out stations. You'll find bea h with much more clear water. Especially in north & east.

Hi ladies you are in paradise , sure you will enjoy your stay , explore the island , as a person who left S.L nearly 40 years ago and being a traveller myself who had been to most of the countries all over the world covering most continents , I could vouch Sri Lanka as one of the paradises and a beauty , out of all the countries I have visited if not for the political problem created by the politicians oc this country I would return . Only some islands in the Carribean and Hawai islands could match it. And also Lankawi in Malaysia I also like you narrating in English and Tamil so that non Tamil speakers could comprehend your stories. I being a Tamilian myself had watched many episodes in Utube with solo lingustic narratives I also liked your affection and love towards the dogs. Unfortunately in that part of the world I feel those animals are totally neglected and abused. May be they paying for their Karma Keep travelling and woud bring you lot of positive energy , in addtion to seeing not only the land but different people and culture

I suppose you can understand Telugu, there is a Telugu village in Sri Lanka. The whole village speaks Telugu. Its closer to Batticolo. Kindly visit this place if you can...Safe stay at SL.

There in Batticola . Really speaking they are all over Sri Lanka and their numbers are around 300,000...most of them have joined with the mainstream society and have either identified them selves as Sinhalese or Tamils. But there are still those Telegu speaking snake charmers and fortune tellers. There are in the eastern part of Sri Lanka in the Batticaloa district.
