Welcome to Vlogmas 2023! I'm taking you along with me each day through December 25th. This year we are traveling full-time in our van! December is going to keep us in Florida, but there will be loads of interesting places that we see and of course knitting, crochet, Disney, and lots of Toaster! Hi Natalie, I want so badly to visit Bliss one day! My Granny was born in Lawrenceburg TN so, I've always had TN in my heart. Bliss is just a beautiful shop and those yarn bowls are exactly what I've been wanting but, not quite finding. You, Kent & Toaster are the cutest little family. In England those pastry’s she showed are called a Cornish Pasty (pronounced pass tee) they originated in Cornwall, (a stunning county right at the bottom of England on the south west coast, Google it, it’s truly beautiful, if you’re ever in the UK it’s worth a visit) anyway, you can get all different flavours now, (chicken and mushroom, cheese and onion etc) but the traditional one is a Cornish Pasty, meat and potatoes with herbs and spices, They are delicious, especially when you get them in Cornwall from a little homemade bakery. 🥰

Yeah, definitely something to try here in the UK! Along with fish and chips lol. 😂 By the way, I’m absolutely loving vlogmas so far!! I love the longer videos too! And the advent openings! I was so happy to see Bliss Yarns. I visited shop twice when I was on vacation (also attending the Tenntucky Retreat) a few years ago. I loved the shop and the ladies couldn't have been nicer. If I ever get a chance to visit again, I'll definitely take it. So happy to be watching your Vlogmas!!

Love how many advents you got 😂 it was so much fun to watch you both open them all! I was watching this at 1 at night and when you squeaked the ball from Toaster’s advent my dog jumped up awake and went around the house to look where the squeaky toy was. She went back to sleep a bit disappointed 😂😂😂

I like that you leave things like you sneezing in the vlog. I'd rather have an honest, personal vlog than a polished, over-the-top-perfect one. Love the Pawliday calenders, I bet Toaster does, too! For advents that don't have numbers to keep the skeins in order, I took inspiration from TL Yarn Crafts last year where she hung hers up by threading a string through each mini. I don't hang mine like she did, but putting each day on the string/spare yarn helps keep them in order. I put a knot in the end with day 1 so I know which end is the start, and when they are all done I tie the ends together in a loop so they don't fall off. Maybe something to try!

We loved watching you both opening your advents and Toaster's. My daughter has the Marvel lego and Harry Potter Lego calendars this year. She loves both. We are travelling and she is keeping all of the characters she makes in a ziploc bag for easy packing in and out of the car. BUT... I didn't know there were dog treat advents SO our dog will enjoy one (or two) of those next year unless we see one at the store when we go to buy his final Christmas gift in the next day or so. Anne 🦘
