I dabble, really just dabble, in watercolor. We are almost halfway through the month and I came upon you. I am sharing this with my friends who do a watercolor group at the Sr. center. I am sure they will enjoy this. They may do it in 30 weeks, not 30 days.

I tell you, these cute paintings seem so simple but they are not so easy! I really struggled with these little kittens! But I'm sure I'll get better as i progress! Thank you for all your direction and instruction. I'm really loving this!❤

Yes, some of them might be tricky! Watercolor can be that way, but keep at it! If you have time to do it more than once hopefully it'll feel better as you go. You've got this!

Hi Audrey…I am late to the party and just started today. I used to watercolor a long time ago but then life got in the way. I finished Kelli Blouin’s inktober challenge and when I say your watercolor challenge, thought I would pick that up for November to get back into the swing of things. I might need to replace my burnt sienna and red ochre, the colors don’t seem to be bright anymore. But all the rest of my supplies are still in good shape. I love that you are doing the paintings in small size almost the size of a zentangle tile, makes me feel like it is doable. One of my cats, Mini, did walk across my pallet although she missed stepping in the puddles of color.

Fun little kitty card. Yes, I do have a cat. She strayed in a couple of winters ago, very skittish of everything. It took a long time to gain her trust. Her name is SkittyBittyKitty. I can still picture her the first winter night when she finally got brave enough to come inside...she discovered the floor vent from the furnace and just draped her body over it and slept...she actually went thru the first winter too afraid to come in. I built her a shelter but truly it wasn't much. It made my heart so happy when she finally came inside. She is still very skittish tho.

I did the adorable little mallard 🦆 yesterday & excited to to start Inktober today.
