Day 1: New Leaf but I Sold My Old Town

I love this feature so much. The choices you get are perfect. I never did it, because I only started playing New Leaf in March 2020. So mine never got very valuable. I played it actively until I bought a Switch Lite later that year. It is my favourite Animal Crossing and still play different towns. I wish New Horizons had something like this. But then again, New Horizons has treasure islands. Also, Rover was 100% meant to be mayor, but saw an easy victim in you since you were going to the same town. That's why he asks where you're going and if you're moving there. Also, also. Tom Nook just conveniently forgetting he pays you a small fortune every single day. "Go get some fruit and seashells to buy a net." I have money to buy a net, TOM!

When I was a kid I sold my town and was so excited cause I’d have a huge boost for my my world. But then after I got my money i lost it all resetting again cause i didn’t like my new town layout…

For next time, nothing is saved until you place a tree down in your new town. Meaning if you don’t like it, shut your game off and your old town will be there again. Then you can start the process of selling your town all over again. Just keep doing that until you find one you like :)

In order for this feature to be available, at least 50 hours of game play and 50 real days have to had passed since the town was created.

I first reset my ACNL town like 1 week before welcome Amiibo update was announced, so I didn't get any bells out of it. For that new town I then just focused on getting as much bells as possible just to properly test the sell feature for myself, and managed to make my town be worth some 80 million bells. Then I never really played on that 3rd town that much.

One of my favorite changes in Welcome Amiibo.. you can shake trees with the net out.. makes Bees a very profitable and safe way to make money :D Also I believe each new town starts with a single perfect fruit on one of its trees, so you can find it and plant a perfect tree on day 1.

I just sold my old town and got 23 billion bells! I was flabbergasted! I just wanted to reatart and I like how New Leaf lets you still see your old home up in the housing district! So its like a log for ny growth

Thats a great map! Not only the Town hall and Plaza lined up, but it's a very quick run from the docks to retail.. which you probably wont need as much, since you're starting with money... but as far as AC maps go, its pretty perfect! :D

So, does anyone knows if it's possible for your native fruit to grow a perfect version of it? Because my perfect fruit got crushed. This game is so frustrating.

Yeah you can only get your native fruit to spawn naturally in your New Leaf town. Other perfect fruits would need to be obtained from other towns

@@CrossingMinute well that's good at least that I can get more perfect pears to spawn. I don't hate butch as much but, I kinda also wish I let him go if I known that Chief was going to be in my campsite. And Vlad refuses to leave. BTW, he was the one who crushed them and, I had a design around them but, I guess the gap to let the trees grow was too big. And, I could have avoided this if I harvested the pears before he came the next day. But I wanted to sleep.
