I kinda miss the grind of new leaf. NH just hands everything to me. Labeled approves any clothes I wear. They tell me who the missing item belongs to. The villagers don't interact with us much, shop only has one update. Idk... New leaf has cooler mechanics.

Yall will always find something to brag about, you would thought that giving the player total freedom in their playstyle in new game would make them satisfied but not even year after a release everyone would start complaining about things that NH doesn't have. Let me remind yall, you cant put everything in the game, yall need to realize its a game on Nintendo and not on PC, the files are limited.

I LOVE watching New Leaf content in this day and age. There are always several moments where it’s like “Unlike in New Horizons, [objectively way better game mechanic] happens” Then I remember how Nintendo never goes back to cool things and I get sad.

I always go back to New Leaf. I don't know what it is about it. I feel like the progression-based rewards in New Horizons are just so lacking. They're both good games but I really hope they bring a lot of the features from NL back.

Many accents within England do say crikey (it's a euphemistic way to say Christ), a major one being the Cockney accent (which Kicks has!), and there are debates as to whether it originated in the UK or Australia :)

This video just how much personality New leaf had with all the new things to unlock and goals and holidays. New horizons is so flavourless in comparison. Even the whole mayor thing vs island representative. New leaf tried to sell the point of you being a mayor so much with all the quests and interactions,meanwhile new horizons was like: oh yeah you’re the representative? This is so fuuun! I got a 3ds xl this month and I finally got to play ACNL and Happy home designer, it has been so much fun knowing I actually have tasks to do and villagers have some personality and there is some progression for the game. I am kinda sad that I got it when the Nintendo online is down bc now there's no way to experience the online games which was the most exciting thing to me.. but maybe cough cough pretendo will have ACNL support soon. I started with Mitzi, Rosie and Blaire (and other meh ones) but this is the luckiest starting villagers I have gotten lol they're adorable. Loved the videoo

I forgot just how detailed the villager interactions in new leaf were. I understand how in NH customization is a big part and being able to chose which villagers move in and which leave is important, but I feel like it could've been more subtle. Eg if you want a villager to leave, rather than being able to just tell them to leave, why not make it so hitting them with a net 200 times makes them so angry they leave

i forgot just how much personality nl has until i went back to it recently. nh has nothing close to the liveliness of nl. yes its slow and time consuming to get anything done, but its amazing at keeping you entertained without being as painfully grindy as nh. although i admit it's not without fault. i need the next game should be a mix of nh's aethetics and level of detail and control with nl's personality. oh well, maybe in 2030 when animal crossing new life or whatever comes out

i think u can sell the beans for more if you put them up for sale on the floor. i'm pretty sure there's some sort of equation on how much of an upcharge you can, well, charge that villagers will still buy. i remember doing this with the minerals from rocks.
