Sweet, been out of the loop for a minute. I'm so glad you're back into 'The Infected' again Fishing can be done everywhere. You must have a pole and bait. I think the same thing about the vehicles we loot. They should have a partial amount of fuel available as loot. 6:57 the noise you heard is the ATV's engine sparking. It will happen periodically because it is a repaired PoS, lol!😅😂😅 The Electrical parts and Mechanical parts being lootable only is great! There are lots of them. Get out there, lol. 9:09 to 9:11 for beginners. If you want to. There are maps online you can look at and plan with outside of game. Unfortunately, the usual methods for faster cut down of trees or faster mining no longer work. If you can find new ones that is awesome! Thank you for the awesome episode and all your hard work! The secret to speed chopping is for old players to rebind the shield key to right mouse button then switch between left mouse and right mouse button. They also added water pipe network so your going to want to plan your base around that instead

It's so quick and easy to make a couple of rain catchers that having your camp fire next to water isn't important. Just start by making 3 saw benches and then enough planks to make the rain catchers. the camp fire holds 200 mL, 200 liters is almost 53 gallons.

Getting the butcher table soon is good to get the quiver for the bow, then extractor or forge to help with all the ores and making the ingots, then maybe loom or advanced workbench for the bigger backpack and better tools but I an intrested to see which techs you will unlock. Top tier unfinished still working on it game, it is good and only has one guy making it unlike 7D2D which has a whole team and 10 years in development so it is very intresting to watch how this game evolves with each version, I am glad you are playing it again

for quiver he will need leather. So without the butcher table he can't collect leather. Instead, the crossbow is off the charts in this game.

GAMING TIP: $5 🪙 at the Trader under INFO gets you the location of the ATV TRAILER.( 20 screws / 3 Iron Ingots / 3 Mechanical Parts) to repair.

Also there is a free large flask(and some coins) in the large unfinished town you’re right next to. It’s in a courtyard between/behind some buildings on a table.

Nice to see you back played The Infected again. Things have changed a bit in the last update, so it'll be interesting to see how you get on with the newer version. The racks and the butcher's table are probably the first tech pages to choose to get the ball rolling. The brick furnace being a close third. Your base is looking good in a good position within the game. Nice and close to a cave, so you don't have to go too far to get ores necessary to progress in the game.

Glad to see you in another season of this platform. I always have appreciated your building. Unless it has been changed I believe you can have up to 250 logs on the ground indefinitely without losing them on log out. Also, you can burn plant fiber in forges et al. now!

If you have planks and are far away from a water source, just make water collecting buckets / containers. Uses planks.

you can fish in any water on the map salmon are only in the ocean on the outer water on the map but trout and the small fish are in creeks rivers and ponds lol

If you don't want to waste firewood in the beginning, you can use bark chips and plant fiber for cooking and whatever else that need fire. Those are pretty useless anyway.

I think the electrical/mechanical parts crafting should be a tech point, I’d take the rack tech away so they’re craft able from the start

You can only find them after the new update. It is not possible to craft in any way, unfortunately. But he throws them quite well.

I have been unable to play this game with my PC after an update, which I believe was about the time the ATV was added. But I still enjoy watching. When I did play, I found 3 of the small stone forges was the baseline for efficiency. You throw 6 stones on them, and when they are done you have 6 fragments, this plus 5 more stone means you're already making an iron ingot and making 5 more fragments from stones, so every repetition results in a new ingot. Since fragments have uses other than ingots, the one offset isn't a problem, and it maintains the feeling that progress is being made. It doesn't take long to have the anvil, and thus access to the nails. I also found early on that 3 saw benches to be most efficient _to my style of play_ since you can only carry 3 logs at once. Pick up 3 logs, load 3 benches, move on while the planks are being made. It made planks almost passive (not as passive as the later method, but pretty close to passive) The circular sawbench not only produces twice the planks per log, but accepts a queue of about 8 logs, so you can load it with multiple logs and it will keep producing until it a. Runs out of fuel, b. Runs out of logs, or c. Runs out of space for 4 more planks.

GAMING TIP: When you go get the free FLASK in the courtyard sometimes you can't see the money 🪙 on the same table so just put your cursor and tap around.
