​@@XCodes There's so many downsides to running Kyogre over the other restricteds, your best move is hp dependent while your second best move is inaccurate. Raging Bolt and Rillaboom are common Pokemon that can threaten it unless it teras. Terapogos can remove weather, Galarian Weezing(on some Calyrex teams) can shut off abilities. It's slower than Zamazenta (which often has wide guard which just prevents you from doing anything unless you are running hydro pump which has 80% accuracy ) Miraidon and Caly S. Caly I just runs trick rooms anyways so you are screwed as far as getting speed control(If you set up tailwind your opponent can just do the same and if you are in trick room you are slower than things like Iron Hands and Amoongus) Kyogre teams are way reliant on Kyogre itself, Miraidon teams have secondary sweepers and Calyrex I/S teams are just balance oriented and cover for many matchups. Still my favourite Pokemon regardless :C

My friends and I were discussing Hirofumi’s Flutter because it survived a thunder punch from Hands on electric terrain, which was absolutely crazy to us. After doing some calcs and realizing it wasn’t possible, I realized what happened. Electric seed activates before quark drive, meaning Hands actually boosts its defence, which is why Flutter was even capable of living, still really bulky tho

If you want to keep track of how he’s doing, they do have links in the twitch stream chat to the pairings and the records of the players. But there is a way to know for sure if they won’t show certain players. Before the rounds get to win and ins, they only show stream matches of undefeated players. Once they get up to the win and in rounds, they only play win and ins. So since wolfe kept his record perfect there was a chance he was shown on stream untill his record was 6-0 , wich at that point he ensured day 2, and none of his remaining games were win and ins, and this ensured he wouldn’t be on stream the remainder of day 1. but it also means we get a high chance of seeing him on day 2. Just a tip in case you stay up late trying to see him in the future, hopefully It will save you some sleep one day. Also don’t forget. Not being on stream early is good for Wolfe. It means competitors have less info about the team and how he plays it. I might actually bet that if his match was on stream early in the day yesterday his game record might not be 16-0.

So TLDR: the streamed matches each round will always only be with players who have a certain record: one such that 1 more win gets them into the next phase of competition, (day 2 or top8) or an undefeated record if players with the win-and-in record don’t exist yet. You can check who has what record with the links on the twitch chat stream with the command !pairings. So you know for sure you won’t see him if we’re at the win and in rounds and wolfe’s record is perfect.

@@FarhanH1 also Im sorry I forgot to mention that since he and only 2 other people went undefeated day1, it was a 2/3 chancee he would be the first match of day 2, and he was. (And if he wasn’t the first stream match, provided he wins his next game, there was a very good chance he would be the second stream match)(Of the undefeated, only 1/3 of their round 1 opponents will not be undefeated. Wolfe just had to be one of the 2/3 who were facing each other, since it was gaurenteed that the undefeated match would be streamed.)

I come from the FGC where there are typically 2-3 streams of ongoing matches, and I’m relatively new to VGC, so the way they do streams and matches and everything over here is completely different.
