Tee heee....Lovely buns!! Thanks for sharing this recipe...your right, sourdough is the best bread...especially toasted. Garden looks amazing...having a micro-climate (have one in my back garden) helps push plants along. Take care 🍃💟🍃

Yes it takes a bit of time to get into a rhythm with it. Once you know what you're doing it's very easy and you just fit it around your day - esp this recipe which is very forgiving. But when I'm super busy it can be hard - then I just don't eat bread because nothing else will do 🤣

That Rhodie is gorgeous! I'd love to do sourdough, but I'm afraid we'll eat too much. My sister is always trying to give me starter. I gave away my bread machine years ago, because we went crazy with the fresh bread LOL.

It is very addictive. I justify it because sourdough is better for you than regular bread, but yeh you can eat a quarter of a loaf just like that if you aren't careful!

Be careful with that mint. Here in California, gardeners are regretting planting it in the ground. It absolutely takes over! I hope yours does not send runners out the bottom of your bed and start invading the rest of your garden..
@dogontheplot
@dogontheplot 6 ай бұрын
Thanks Ann - it's in what I call the 'invasive patch' 🤣, so it's contained and can merrily spread there if it so chooses. The previous residents had put mint in the flower borders and that pops up now again and I have to keep on top of weeding it out grrrr.

Lovely buns 😆. Loaf looked so good 😋. I will try once I've aquired the kit needed. I always spend my pennies on gardening at the mo so none left in the kitty for bread baskets and the like 😂. I will get round to it at some point though. Do you ever make sourdough pizza bases?
@dogontheplot

Yes I make pizzas with it - usually when I get impatient and just whack the dough out onto a baking tray 🤣

@@dogontheplot so when you're impatient you whack it out onto a baking tray and make pizza, when you're forgetful and it over proves you make buns. How many times out of ten exactly do you end up with a loaf as shown in the video 😆

I had a Goji berry do the same and a friend whose bush is massive done the same and never produced berries. Actually that's a lie - mine produced 1 individual berry in the 6 years I had it so eventually apologised to it and composted it
