I really appreciate your attitude towards most everything. You seem upbeat and positive, even when things kind of suck. But not in some sickening sweet way. More matter of fact with a positive spin. And I sincerely hope you are able to keep this demeanor for the rest of your journey!

Jess, you are very independent in your decision making and yet you also talk about enjoying hiking with your tramily. You are quite the person to admire. Question as a viewer I hear about Trail Midnight being around 8:30 pm when the sun has gone down and I’m not a disciplined sleeper … do you find because you hike so many miles that your body is so tiered that falling asleep at 8:40 or 9pm comes naturally and do you sleep all through the night till you arise ? ❤😊

I met a SOBO at a hostel in NC who emailed me a bunch of information on the Whites: a Thru Hiker pass that gives you lots of discounts at tent sites and lodges; a $20 Budget Route through the Whites; info on Huts Work for Stay; plus more of what appears to be good information on the Whites. I would be happy to email it to you? I don’t know who you might have contact info for but some people who have my # are: Sparrow, Quirk, Nails, Grayman Walking, 7Iron and Scarface? Let me know. Take care.

Have any of you got any blisters yet?

Everyone gets blisters all the time on the AT. It's not really worth talking about

@KC3YCU there's no need to criticize this person for their question!

I think everyone gets blisters but I've heard some people use leukotape on their feet to prevent it.
