Ribs take a long time to heal. I’m guessing since a fall it’s a lower rib and not upper? If upper rib and broken it can pierce a lung. I wondered how it did not bother you more going through the notch. I’m guessing all the overhead carrying of the pack aggravated it even more. You are a tough and determined gentleman. You’ve got this!
