for 9 months i have been testing rechargeable hand warmers. many choices, I recommend: pin pure $7.99 - 360 heat for 1 hand. Losing $8.99 - a 2fer, separates, use 1@a time, heats up approx 4 sec, lasts about 12, 10, 6 hours, low, med high, 3 hours to charge. No more cold hands, create strategies for use. Reusable not disposable. They work

Being "cheerful in all weathers" is the real challenge of living outdoors. Something to do with being an inseparable part of the universe. I pretend that even the squirrels are grumpy on the worst days. Probably aren't, though.
