Day 173: I am grateful for giving self-love to myself
Welcome to another episode of Dear God, with Gratitude.
𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞
Start your day by embracing gratitude and grounding yourself in the present.
Here’s your challenge:
𝐖𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐔𝐩 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞: Before even getting out of bed, list 20 things you’re grateful for. Let each one bring a smile to your face and set the tone for your day.
𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥: Upon waking, drink a glass of lemon water to hydrate and refresh your body. Then, savor a cup of coffee, letting the warmth and aroma remind you to be present and mindful.
𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤: Head to your favourite spot - whether it’s a beach, park, or nature trail.
As you walk, use your five senses:
𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭: Notice the beauty around you - the colours of the sky, the textures of the trees, or the sunlight dancing on the water.
𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝: Listen to the waves crashing, birds singing, or the rustle of leaves in the wind.
𝐒𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐥: Breathe in the fresh air, the scent of the sea, earth, or flowers.
𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡: Feel the ground beneath your feet, the breeze on your skin, and the texture of nature as you walk.
𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞: Bring a bottle of lemon water and take a sip to refresh yourself, letting the tangy taste energise you.
Let this walk be a celebration of the moment and everything you have to be grateful for.
