Maybe Tara Downer Mrs FKT could do 3 miles an hour thru there but not your normal thru hiker. Love the Bigelows . We had a super crystal clear day when we went thru there and could barely see Mama K waaaaay off in the distance!

Thanks for the beautiful trail views. I applaud your effort👏🏻Cheers to the accomplishment of Day 178. A for real speed for me completing the round trip of climbing Katahdin was 0.75 mph. 15 hour day for me. Had to night hike a portion of the Abol trail on the descent. But, that was my bad decision day.🙄 Wishing you good fortune ahead. Happy Trails!

Hey! It’s my favourite AT Thru Hiker Couple! Another fantastic view day! That trail magic looked amazing 🤩 whomever said that those roots and rocks were easy to run through 😮yikes! Question- Looking at the videos coming out of Appalachia, NC area… I don’t know the AT. Just from what I’ve watched in this years videos… did you and Chuck hike through any of the towns that have been devastated by the floods and mudslides? Are there thru hikers going through those areas SoBo?

Yea we haven’t seen much since we’re currently in the 100 mile wilderness (this is my first day with decent cell signal) and those towns got hit HARD with flooding. It’s so sad.

Questioning my 2025 plans, the trail is closed for over 850 miles atm but hoping for better news to come. Praying for everyone affected. :(

Hahah! Maybe it was Tara. She just finished the entire trail in just over 40 days, another 14 hours? And something minutes. On the 21st. Who passed you? I didn't ever see any news of him finishing. #fkt

@@amywert8088 I was so bummed we didn’t see Tara on trail. She’s such an inspiration. And the guy that was attempting a NOBO FKT that passed us in Maryland (I think it was MD at least haha) had to quit like 200 miles from Katahdin because of injury. My heart broke for him ☹️
