@@krashhhhhit definitely looks thicker than 3mm doesn’t it. So glad I saw these comments before making it.

struggling a little when it comes to adding on the cords after the spirals - could you explain that a little more
@TNArtCrafts4 жыл бұрын
in words, you use two cords of spiral knots, use them as hanging cords, add cord onto them, then connect them. you might want to watch this video where I explained it better, hope it helps :) kzbin.info/www/bejne/rHeumJR7e9-liK8

How thick is the cord you use? It says 3 mm in the clip but it looks more like a 4 mm? It is so beautiful, cannot wait to get started!
@gmcleanly4 жыл бұрын
I agree with you. I did it following the instructions and used 3mm cord. When I finished it, it wasn't the expected size. The leftover length of the strings of 60 cm. If the cord had been 4mm it would have been perfect.

ok so after the 2nd set of spirals and before tying the 32 pieces on what did you do? I don't have any "gaps" at this point, only the strands hanging down from where I finished the spiral knots. I have already cut all my rope so not trying to find something else. Please advise Thanks! ~Stephanie
@shaniqua3284 жыл бұрын
The vide link that you replied to someone below still does not show how you achieved this? Please explain what was done prior to tying the 32 pieces. And did you use lark jeans knot to tie the pieces on? you really skipped some important steps here.

@@shaniqua328. Looks like she is taking the working cords and adding the smaller cords to it.

Love this. Just made it out of 3mm. Had 8 strands way too long. How much would i need to increase measurements for 5mm?

we dont have exact answer but probably 60% more should be okay, maybe a bit of experiment for you 😁

In explanation of pattern maybe consider adding not for beginners. I am not a beginner. I watched several times to make notes of skipped steps in order to complete project. Not everyone is experienced. Your project is very nice. A shame it's not explained very well.

It’s a beautiful project but a very bad tutorial. I’m not a beginner and I’m having issues following the bottom diamond part. It would be useful to add how many knots you are doing each way and what cord to choose instead of simplifying everything with the “Using double half hich knots and using square knots” caption at the bottom of the video. Yes, I get what knots we are using but how you use them is what should be explained in my opinion. Very frustrating experience considering this is supposed to be a tutorial…
