I feel your pain. My daughter has high functioning autism and she was in mainstream for kindy and had a one on one aide. The teachers were great but unfortunately my daughter just couldn’t cope and as much as the teachers tried, they just didn’t have the training as to what to do. The school put me on to Aspect and I went to one of their info sessions to learn more. My daughter is now in a satellite class of about 8 kids which is held within a mainstream school and is coping so much better. Her anxiety levels have dropped dramatically. The teachers are Aspect teachers provided by the main ASPECT school and they are just amazing with her. Best decision we ever made. Also because of my daughters diagnosis she also gets transport with the other kids in her class to and from school (through dept of education) and she loves going on the “taxi.” Hope it goes well for your little one.

Wow my daughter is with Aspect too!! She went from the base school last year to a satellite school this year. Thank goodness she is settling in really well now.

I don't why parents don't understand. Please consider special school trust me ! They feel happy and important
