Day 2 - The Escarpment Trail - North Point to Blackhead - The Catskills - NY

Leaving camp on day 2 and climbing up to Black Dome to check out the view before heading back up to Blackhead Mountain to complete the loop. Then the long hike home along the Escarpment Trail back to North Point and back to the sttart. Some of the best views of the hike were on this day and the weather was absolutely perfect.

Yeah, just for curiosity sake I kinda wish I did the out and back to the spring, if only to document it for next time, or for anyone else planning to do the trail. It would good to know for future hikes. The risk is that if the spring is unreliable then the situation is made even worse by going the extra distance. It's hard to know the right choice sometimes. Glad you enjoyed the video.
