I have hiked this area many times in the past and I am enjoying seeing the scenes again. I am 84 and still hike 5 miles 3 times a week on a Georgia Mountain. You are doing great and I love the photography.

You sound like an amazing person! My dad will be 84 in July. Sadly, he has Lewy Body Dementia and most of the time doesn’t know who I am. I plan on being a person like yourself, hiking, walking, biking, whatever it is I do but be as active as possible out in the fresh air ❤

You are just chewing up the miles at this point -- in the Smokies no less. The sunrise sequence reminded me of a similar experience watching the sun come up over the New Mexico prairies from the top of a 10,000-foot peak in the front range of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The stock ponds and little lakes looked like diamond chips in the early light.

The Sangre de Cristos are beautiful. Some of the best hiking I have ever done.

As a ridgerunner last year that was always my favorite section to patrol. I hung all those tarps by the way.

Thanks for being a Ridge Runner. It's an important job for very little reward. I camped one night in the smokies last year with a RR that was engaged to get married. I'm sure you know the two folks are.

@@philhorne3293 I met Amelia last year when she was working at REI in Pigeon Forge but have never met her husband. They were both ridgerunners in 2022. I was the sole ridgerunner for the Smokies last year.

Wow time flies. I didn't realize it's been two years. You had a big job if you were the only one. Much respect!

I enjoy your videos very much. My daughter-in-law is also walking the AT as well. She is about 100 miles behind you. Your videos give me an idea of what she will be encountering in the next few weeks. Keep up the good work!

Hey Molly, you and i were bunkmates at the Green Dragon. I was also on the upper bunk next to you, ( the one that Doc complained was snoring) when we spoke, i didn’t why you’re face and the tone of you’re voice sounded so familiar, i was already a suscriber, but at the time of me leaving for Amicalola falls, you had posted only pre-trail material. I finished at Winding Stairs Gap, because i had 3 weeks off for Easter. We just might see each other again later on ( i live in Quebec) as i plan to to Mass, Vt and the whites in my days off. I love your videos. So happy trails. Mike (Candy man)

This is cool! I’ve been watching Mollys videos AND Mama Bear & Little Bear’s videos (Wild Flowers) and I remember seeing what an amazing person you are in those videos! I was also excited to hear you’re from Quebec! Fellow Canadian 🇨🇦 I’m in Ontario and hope to hike the AT in the near future (next year or so)

Molly, this is my favorite section in the Smokies, Newfound Gap to Tricorner Knob. Beautiful forests and awesome ridge walking. Best views in the park. Love the snow. You are hiking all around some other KZbinrs that I am following, Mama Bear and Little Bear. I think y'all did a talent show at a hostel earlier on your trip. Anyway, be careful, enjoy this day, and God bless.

fettuccini alfredo by backpacker's pantry is the best flavor imo
Awesome video! You are obviously feeling much better . Which is good to see. I am not fond of the freeze dried backpacker meals. I don't know if you follow The Hungry Hiker but she has some great ideas on putting together meals from the grocery store. Great day in anyone's book. Well done Molly! Best!
