Today's lesson is very similar to the one we had on Day 18, but this time our "trigger lick" is an arpeggio starting from the 5th. The reason I felt the need to bring this up today, because you don't want your arpeggios always starting on beat 1. Even if you want that, it is not how it works :D We need to be able to smoothly transition from scale to arpeggio and from arpeggio to scale during our improvisation. When you improvise, your scales and arpeggios will be all over the place. Don't try to tame them! Let them appear wherever they want to appear :) It is easier to say than done. I know. This exactly why I want you to practice today's challenge.
