Thank you so much Dr Shifali for enlightening me today. I've been on this journey of self discovery for a long time and on the way have lost a couple of people who were very close to me emotionally but I never regarded that as the cost per se of my transformation. Now I finally see and can accept that I was unhealthily enmeshed even to the extent of narsisstic supply and co-dependency the latter being me. I also recently discovered that I'm an empath personality type, which explains a lot...I like me better now that I can stand in my own light. Thank you again. Kind regards

Thank you for empowering us! Fortunately my parents never pressured me to choose a religion or get married. As an adult, I chose the Catholic faith and feel empowered and so much freedom by living in the 10 commandments. My children are a blessing and a gift from God and they are not mine, but His. 😇

Here is the message I’ve just sent to my two teenage daughters with a link to your work...................’If you ever need outside advice from a beautiful wise soul, for anything you find yourself struggling with as a female growing up in the world. Listening to this woman will be able to help you find the answer. She’s like the Alicia Keys and Indie Arie of Spiritual life teachings. Love you guys and can’t wait to see you the weekend xxx’

I don't believe the SUFFERING part or the price to pay. I am willing to practice self love. Appreciate all I've done for myself and others. I'm willing to let go of the control over other's emotions. I'm in charge of mine. I have been in this journey for many years and many years to come. I have an 80 year old Mother and 37 year old son. I see how the changed me is helping my son for good and the resistance I see from my mom. Thanks from my heart from CANADA 😁

I'm curious how you are thinking about our Healthcare system where it's all about the Dsm5 and searching for explanation. I'm also curious how you are thinking about the many kids nowadays who get diagnosed with adhd or ass, but also seem more like the 'newer' kids to get parents awake. Again a great talk, thanks shefali

I'm also curious about this: the paradigm shift should be, that parents should raise themselves, al though in the current view psychology says: it's because of you are not normal kid, you are not average. Well, I'll share my opinion with you although the reality is there is a lot of depression, developmental disorders. Do you think with shifting the paradigm this will shift. The normal then isn't the normal today, as you are saying here, maby we are told to believe it and we are puppeteers. But we value a lot on what's normal and how can parents get the validation for raising there child. This is my struggle, I'm a child psychologist and also a mom.

some people say its easier with more childern than with one... Doctor Schafali is spiritual teacher and much more than therapist and parent... She is not claiming that she is perfect, she is only helpng all us expend our consciousness... She is a student as well not just an expert in psychology
@impartial27704 жыл бұрын
@@dzihanahajdarpasicmisirlic5347 but I m rejecting her point of view what is she trying to help us all .. And my objections are with logic.. All human being are dependent on each other during the different cycle of life.. If someone have one daughter how that person can tell us how to raise a son ???

@@impartial2770 she is not an absolute pwrfection in parenting just like non of us. She is offering some good views on how not to take in all the drama that society and culture imposes on parents of today....Of course take from her philosophy what resonates with u, and apply that ;) I also do not resonate with all, and I am mom of two, and not a single mom

I would REALLY like you to talk to Jordan Peterson. I mean. I love and admire you both so much!!! I look up to you both as highly reasonable and spiritualy evolved people. The moment you mentioned women having a hard time to be them selves it clicked. Mr. Peterson is waisting his time arguing and trying to explain himself to stupid feminists around the world. (I am a woman but I do not agree with this silly and pittyful movement) I wish you two will meet one day in a mindful conversation.

I don't get the message that Dr Shefali is saying she is free of conditioning herself though, she has never made that claim...she recognises that we are mired in culture but yet there is always freedom within. Or that's how I hear it anyway.
@tryintosleep4 жыл бұрын
impartial What should she dress like? Mother Theresa, or in a Jedi robe? She's still human like any person on earth. Were you paying more attention to her clothes in each of the 21 videos or the message?
