Hi Dr. Shefali, I've been watching your videos since the beginning of the pandemic. Thank you so much for helping to guide us through the beginning of this painful awakening process. I've been thinking about your teachings, and I've started wondering about waking up. If we're all in the matrix, how do we know we're arrived at freedom or liberation? Is it... the experience of no suffering, calm tranquility? Or is it that we are simultaneously calm *and* aware of the illusion, impermanence? I ask because I've felt moments of deep calm, peace, love for all things, perhaps childlike presence-- but I certainly have fallen into egoic traps since then. The experience of inner peace, on its own, doesn't seem to be sufficient to get out of our mental concepts about life, relationships, expectations. In short, how do you know you're on the right track? Thank you again for all that you do, Caitlin

Hi, I hope you don't mind me answering, I just read your questions and would love an answer to them too...but I was reading Eckhart Tolle's New Earth book the other day and he answered this by saying that you have arrived there when you no longer need to ask the question... that's not the answer I was hoping for but I guess this video shows that we just need to keep moving forward slowly and stop expecting an outcome.

I was going to run away from my life and my family. The pain of slowing down, and living with myself was too much, too painful. I have never been comfortable in my skin, and I wonder why my son struggles.... . I always change jobs when things get difficult.... I run, and don't face my discomfort... I feel so uncomfortable now.... I hate this feeling.. I want to give up, it is so big. It is easier to not face reality
