I am really happy that the addition of the KAkali nishAdham in the ArOhaNam has made BrindhAvani all the more enchanting. With so many rAgas - all siblings born of the same Janaka RAga - and sharing the same sequence of swraras in many cases, every innovative change helps so much to distinguish between them easily. Kali yuga varadhan is really thrilling to sing as well as to listen.

Namaste Madamji,In Hindustani Music Sarang orBrindavani Sarang Contains KakaliNishadam in Arohanam while Kaishiki Nishadam in Avarohanam like Brindavani in Carnatic as you Said.Why it is differentiate in Both System of Music.
