Thanks ji. Am seeing variations in the arohanam n avarohanam of some.ragas.. for eg., in Brindavan saaranga, am seeing RGRS in the descent in some schools of.music ..am seeing such variations on some other ragas also other than the melakartha ones...

Seems similar to Kambhoji in the N2/N3. Also Raga itself resembles Hamsanandham(except for prathi Madhyama)..

Am happy to see the explanation of the n2 n3 prayogams since i self learnt it thro the songs n krthis i tried myself after getting confused for a while..that self learning journey was nice and good to see that being reinforced. I think that logic applies to all ragas where 2 sthanams of the same swara appear..like kaapi, desh etc..right Umaji??
