Bro, I am loving these uploads they are so helpful and genuine. When I discovered this new channel, it relit a spark in me to get back to a healthy life, which i have drifted away from these past few months. Also, remembering that true happiness and fulfilment doesn't come from bad habits with instant gratification but rather uncomfortable yet greatly beneficial activities like training, reading, and journaling, etc. You are my biggest inspiration hamza, and your uploads have helped me so much in life for the last 2 years. Keep it up, bro. 👊

I think you are only gonna understand what James said about never performing to the potential until you had your first fight. When you spend so much time training and trying to get better, it doesnt feel good to get a lousy win, you want the satisfaction of knowing that you are the guy. When I have a volleyball game and I mess up my receives or cant get through the block it doesnt matter if we win or not Im gonna go home feeling unsatisfied. But in my experience I always set expectations on myself too high, maybe I just have a perfectionism complex hahaha, good luck with the training bud

You’ve spoken recently about how pride is considered a sin, and instead you’re talking about self respect as the thing you’re focusing on. I think that pride has been miscategorised and that what they’re actually talking about is closer to arrogance. We distinguish between arrogance and confidence because arrogance is false confidence whereas true confidence is earned. If we break down what the feeling of pride actually is, it’s a signal from our brain to tell us that we just did something good that is worth feeling good about - being proud of. It’s self satisfaction with your positive choices. How can that be wrong? It’s positively reinforcing a positive behaviour so that we do it more in future. With this in mind I don’t think we should demonise being proud of ourselves but I’d be interested to hear if you see it differently. As a side note I really relate to your video of on how lust made you miserable, I didn’t recognise it before watching that video as lust being the root of those events in my own life but I believe you’re right. One thing I’d like to add to the partner selection/vetting idea, is that with my girl both her and myself convinced me that it was worth staying because she would get better, staying for what she said she’d be not what she was. I’m not shitting on her, she’s was a super sweet girl but deep down I knew she wasn’t my future wife and I stayed because of who I thought she’d become and that’s just not a good basis for maintaining a relationship. I feel like a lot of self improvement guys could fall into these relationships as they relate to that process of not being good enough yet but it just doesn’t work to see a partner like that and it’s quite heartbreaking. Lmk your thoughts on the pride idea.

Hey, I just finished watching your latest video and felt the need to write this down. I don’t usually write to KZbinrs because I know they’re probably numb to all the wholesome comments and stuff. Plus, it feels weird for guys to write wholesome things to other guys. But I’m still going to do it because I feel like I owe it to you for everything you’ve done for my life. Just to make things clear, I was never an extreme hater or an extreme dikrider. I was a pretty neutral viewer who watched your videos but rarely commented. Over time, as you got busy with Adonis School, started uploading less, and everything else going on, I kind of stopped watching you. Honestly, I got influenced by all the hate and negativity you were getting. (Again, I was never an extreme hater, I just stopped watching.) In your last video, you said, “I always stuck by my subs, but when I was going through a breakup, instead of asking about my well-being, everyone was just hating.” I guess that’s not entirely on me, but I still feel partially responsible, so… sorry about that. Despite this being a weird parasocial relationship, I’ll try to be more mature and not get influenced so easily or start hating on you again. Thanks for all the good habits and positive influence you’ve instilled in me-reading, eating healthy, fasting, not being a degenerate, and all that. We need more people like you. Two tips for you: 1. About Adonis School Sometimes it feels like you’re either in “F*** you, I don’t care if you think my program is a scam” mode, or overly justifying it. At least, that’s how it used to feel-you’re getting better now. I think the middle ground would work better, like: “This is my product. I sell it because I think it’s good. If you think it’s a scam, respectfully, I don’t care.” ( thats how things use to be i do think you are getting better at it ) Also, a realization that helped me appreciate Adonis School more was asking myself: Would I pay Hamza for all the influence he’s had on me over the years? The answer was always yes. 2. Handling Parasocial Relationships I think you could get better at dealing with the parasocial aspect of your audience. Just like you’ve learned to be yourself in real life, I think there’s a way to do that with your audience too. You need to be vulnerable, but just enough so it doesn’t feel whimsy or gay , and still keep that cool, ego-ey, slightly arrogant vibe without overdoing it. It’s not black or white-the answer is somewhere in the middle. This will come with trial and error. I could be wrong, though. Anyway, I hope you fulfill your purpose and achieve your goals.
