so glad you got to meet Gumasindo at casa sindo. He is a great guy. When I was there in April, he was up early and prepared fresh coffee for me. He truly enjoys meeting people from all over the world. As shown by the many postcards he has received and has pinned to his walls. Wow, you also got to meet the two guys that run the Cafe El Jardin del Alma. The fella playing soccer with his dog is also a great guitarist. Palacio Gaudi... simply the best. What great memories you are making.

I like what Margaret said at this point is only functional not esthetics. You gals look pretty gorgeous! The content of your videos are getting like wine or should I say the Vermouth you drink, smooth and rich. You overcame from a setback and now you are back on your feet. My suggestion, youtube is a numbers game, the more videos the better. Part 1 and part 2 is always work. Basically, now you have a mini series. You know you are doing something right when people want more !! The end of this videos was really sweet. It is a foreshadowing of what your friendship with Margaret will become. Just like those two sweet lady at the end. Great bonding. Can Margaret tell us a bit about her? El Camino is more than the terrain but the stories you encounter each step. That burguer looks pretty good and you can eat guilt free. Just keep applying for your jobs and you understand some Spanish now.

Denise was killed just after Astorga in the beautiful and very old village of Polvazares, that has now been 'removed' from The Camino.

@@Pennylee58 it’s the Altra Olympus 5 trail runner. Wide toe box is key. However getting thin on the sole so I am inserting insoles every 200 s

Thanks for the update on weight. I am curious too what happens to the body over the walk. Curious why M thinks she may have lost muscle. Upper body muscle loss?

I'm so glad you're better. Please don't make your videos shorter. I would prefer if you made them longer. And you are right, it is your Camino not ours, do it your way. The tree you found in Alto de San Toribio is a chestnut tree, its fruits are edible and it is in season. I love watching you eat. It is said that if you don't eat on the Camino, the Camino eats you. I don't know any pilgrims who like that bridge over the railway. Hahaha!

Thanks Xan. Yes I like long form videos because as a dear friend of mine said, if it’s 30 mins, it’s like TV and we don’t want that. I tried but clearly I can’t keep it short haha. That bridge is a test isn’t it.

Are people carrying their medicine during the day and then chilling at night? I leave in three weeks and have medicine that needs to stay very cold.

My suggestion to future perigrinos is to bring a beekeepers hat to avoid those pesky flies. It won't add much to your backpack weight. I inhaled a fly which probably feasting on cow dung. Btw the rest of Galicia will be smelling of fermenting cow manure

With all due respect, did you really enjoy the Camino? I have read a couple of your comments and have only seen complaints. "I have swallowed a fly", "Galicia smells like manure" etc. That's life in the country. There are bugs everywhere. And manure may smell bad but we all like naturally grown vegetables. Btw she has not yet arrived in Galicia
