I did it about 6 years ago. Was ploughing ahead when blisters on the balls of my feet and foot problems started. It changed my whole way of walking. I had to slow down, rest more and walk more slowly. I was anti medicine but pain killers became my new best friend. I understand this to be a tough decision for you to make, I would not have wanted to stop either. At least I only had myself to consider. I met loads of people walking stages so your right pick up again. God bless 🙏

It's sad, and maybe it's one more provocation against 1000 years of history. The Cathedral stands at Praza do Obradoiro, a public square; and the building where the deformed flag is placed, opposed to the Cathedral, is Pazo de Raxoi (Raxoi's Palace), both city's and province's government seat. Mayoress of Santiago nowadays is a Socialist Party's woman; that alone explains a lot. Provincial government is pseudo-conservative 'center', which plays the eternal opposition game together with Organic Left. We couldn't expect less...
