A family friend named Mike Salinel did security for the Barrett-Jackson Collect Car Auctions in Scottsdale, unfortunately he was killed in a motorcycle accident before the 2016 auction. He always said it was one of his favorite events of the year.

The lack of the commentary on the cars, for KZbin purposes, may have something to do with the contracts of Mike Joy, Steve Magnante and all the others who talk about the cars. Also, maybe copy right issues are involved. I have not read any explanation as to why the commentary is left out. I do wish they would leave the commentary in as there is so much knowledge provided by the commentators.

.......You will NOT hear commentators describing the details of the cars because this is a Barrett-Jackson presentation and it is their call as to how the autos are presented.....They chose to present as if you were present at the auction and they can do whatever the hell they please.....A month, 6 months, or a year down the road you will then see comprehensive descriptions of individual autos by NBC, ESPN, Motor Trend, or the broadcast firm that has purchased the rights from BJ!

@@23ofSeptember.....Yeah, I noticed when the F355 came up they did NOT mention that service was up to date which means it's 99% certain that service is NOT current...That means if you're planning to drive it more than 1000 miles, you are looking at $20,000 for timing belt service plus around $7,000 for other things which were probably neglected.....The 355 stands for 3.5 liter and 5 valves per cylinder...And you can imagine what havoc those five valves wreak on the internals like timing belt/chains.....All in all, I loved the 355!....Don't know if you remember the movie "The Rock," but the yellow Ferrari that Sean Connery stole was a 355!!.....Good driving to ya!!
