Tips for people. 1.) Use your shield it helps out so much you practically dont need health kits. 2.) use your shield and spears to fight crocks you don't need a quiver and a bow kage is just used to the old ways before there was a shield. 3.) Dont destroy your butchers bench getting gas is easy just run to the crocks place down a land claim pole then run back grab your bench and carry it to the new land claim pole tada no destroying no wasting material just time and gas. 4.) Dont spend your points on what you want spend them on what you need at the moment. ill give an example lets say you find all the material for a advanced work bench but you don't have the material for a butchers table then get the advanced workbench as this will allow building irons tools which will help gathering materials for a butchers table.

Is ridiculously easy to kill the crocodiles with the Shield and Spear. You put your shield up. Let the croc hit you than you stab the croc then it hit your shield, then you stab again and so on. Very easy

I go minimalist when going croc hunting. I bring 10 ingots and 6 planks. Make a raised platform and the butcher table. Lure the crocs to the raised platform and shoot them from up there. They can’t get you if you’re raised up. I have enough room to bring the skins and most of the meat back. I drop the bones because you get so much over the course of a play thru. I don’t camp out or make a bed there. Up and back with minimal effort. As for tech progression I get the extractor first, so I can get cobalt and copper to make the advanced workbench and circular sawbench (tech 2 and 3) then butcher table and loom. I don’t go crazy with any builds until I have the good tools and the circular sawbench. After that it’s all personal choice, what is important to you, for your style of play.

I think that the most efficient way to make this gator’s trip is to drive there and claim the land and make a small outpost then come back to your house and run there with the cart while holding the butcher’s table. Then after you’re done, you can take back all the meat and the hide, plus you will save so much iron ingots. But anyway you do it, it won’t matter as you will get enough resources soon, but the big backpack is a must, so you should go and get it asap!

You could do the cheesy move of throwing a spear into the tree next to the bear (works with arrows once you have the quiver too) because you'll get a marker you can see where that item is, for ease of navigating back to it with your cart. 20:15 n-20:25 Since the campfire will take 200 dirty water, and the canteen holds 60, if you fill the campfire fully with the canteen you end up with 40 dirty water still in the canteen. While you can use this for handwashing, putting out your fires, etc. It's best to get that dirty water out of the canteen pretty quick to avoid accidentally drinking it later. Or you can avoid this by only filling the campfire to 180 (3 canteens). Since you don't have a "permanent water source" such as a lake or river, you are dependent on rain to refill you basins, and 4 canteens of water is 1/2 of one basin. You should be fine with 3 basins and depending on the rain, until you start a significant amount of farming. 20:53-20:58 you pick up your canteen with 40 dirty water in it, you did not notice that when you tried to get clean water, the clean water in the campfire did note go down, then you drank the 40 dirty water. While this does satisfy your thirst, it's risky drinking that dirty water. On Techs Advanced Workbench is also what you need for the bone arrows (so you only have to replace ones you lose, because they won't break Circular sawbench in addition to double the planks per log you can chop down and load it with a bunch of logs, so when it finishes one log, it starts on the next, instead of you having to manually reload it after each log. Brick Forge while it is very convenient to be able to smelt 10 items at once in one place and it is far more fuel efficient, I suspect the brick forge does not create as much light pollution to attract enemies as 5 running forges, the brick forge is more convenience and fuel efficiency than it is about necessity (in my view) Racks the weapon rack alone is important if you are going to add the repair and upgrade tools to your collection as they will take up slots of your weapons. Keeping a spare bow around, etc. The clothing rack is important once you start dressing for different seasons as those clothes take a lot of space in chests.

I'm really liking the way you can personalize the game to fit how you enjoy playing, the custom tech points really make a difference in letting you pick what's important to you. I'm not that bothered about the bigger backpack so I can let it slide a while, and I enjoy making a little outpost so I can go kill a bunch of crocs for meat and either bring it back or leave it to spoil. I guess it depends on where you build, if you build on the other side of the map that would be a bother running so far, so like I said it really lets you enjoy how you play based on your choices, which I love!

throw your spear at the croc from a distance, stand next to your butcher table and hold your shield up until it dies. super simple and only 2 durability used on your spear plus the croc does right next to your table.. works on all aggressive animals

you can carry the crocodiles on your lap with the atv one at a time i know it's a pain but it works.

Finding 2 hide to make the quiver isn't that difficult, really. The larger animals all give a hide. It's only the racoon and fox that doesn't, as far as I remember. You get wool from the sheep, obviously. Ah... right. I forgot that you can only make bone arrows on the advanced workbench. Which means you can either use one of the collected tech sheets for that, (assuming you still have spare ones), or use stone arrows to take on the crocs. The down-side of which is that there's a 50% chance of the arrows breaking when firing them. Taking your butcher's table with you wouldn't be a problem, if you could place down another claim sign close to where you want to set it down. However, as you're aware, you can't do that whilst carrying the butcher's table. That's a bat of a bistard. The only way is to take enough iron with you to make a butchers' table once you're near the swamp. I'm surprised you managed to bag 4 crocs with the arrows you had. Usually, you lose half of them. Maybe they've changed things in the game? I'd plumb for the advanced workbench, as having the iron tools will increase the rate of extraction quite significantly. The extractors will also need to be considered as well as the brick furnaces, in order to get your ingot production up and running. Squishing frogs should also be a bit of a priority, not for food, but for biofuel, which you'll need to run the extractors.

You can get 1 Animal Hide from Pigs, thats alot better than picking a fight with a Bear!

You can easily kill the alligators with the spear and the shield. Let the alligator lunge at you, use your shield then immediately spear him and repeat four to six times.

Could have made that so much easier on yourself. STEP 1) drive to location (swamp) STEP 2) place a land pole closer to swamp STEP 3) drive back and pick up carving table. STEP 4) drive back to swamp and place carving table near land pole. STEP 5) lure the crocs towards table(6 arrows in head) 7th arrow in head at table, boom done (no cart needed) Arrows was an example how ever many it take to kill depending on arrow type, just do one less and shoot the last one at the table so you don’t have to walk with the croc. I've had this game for a long time now and I will NOT play it again until the dev takes the Useless, Unnecessary, Unwanted, Stupid land claim OUT !!!!! Shame really, this IS a Great game...however, it's NOT pvp, in Fact it's NOT multi-player...so WHY does the dev Think we want building Limited???...there's NO reason for it, we're Alone and there's nobody else building....
